Recently made some posts on non bl subs. Now they were not bl posts but out of 10 images there was 1 bl pic. Some were disgusted , some straight up started abusing. Now bl has increased in popularity but honestly I'll still consider it niche, cause you cannot ask someone do they reading bl without the risk of either the person doesn't knows bl or is disgusted by it(Homophonic country ✌️✌️) . So do you think bl or other queer content with get kind of normalised?

I'll be very honest, i love power ukes and all but cute ukes with a spine will always be my favorite

I had this thought for a long time but i want to talk about it. I honestly don't support SA in any story

In majority of the bl stories involving sa, the sa is in the beginning to in a way start a dialog( not supporting it). You can literally see this pattern Jinx, potn ,low tide in twilight ,etc. But idk if i read roses and champagne with rose tinted glasses but before that dreaded chapter, they already had kind of a relationship. Ceaser bringing lee won to his home, log cabin , after log cabin. They didn't had a relationship but they had enough dialog. And it was fun. I legit had so much fun reading it before that chapter. Now it had all the points of a red flag bl like breaking lee won scooter, pointing his gun ,etc. But, those things to a point are bearable.

And what was the purpose of that chapter? To show ceaser as a maniac? We know he's a maniac? To show that he's dangerous? We know he's dangerous. To show that he'll go any lengths if he feels lee won might leave him? WE KNOW IT. That chapter didn't accomplished anything, it just left a bad taste in our mouth, makes sure that you cannot recommend it and just made it the generic story of "oh he might leave me so I'm gonna SA him"

RaC could have been another shutline, proving that even if mafia and stuff is involved, you can still make a gritty, dark story without SA.

Take lend me some sugar for eg. Start he looks feminine, but you can still see some masc features. But cut to last chapter, why does he looks younger now? Kim dan would be the most famous example, people post comparing him from first to latest chapter how much he is getting twinkified.

Now the reason i think authors do it is to make the character more cuter over time. For that i just want to say on behalf of the entire bl community,

we love our cute ukes from the start!!!

They are cute from the first chapter itself. There is no need to twinkify them more. In some case they literally start to look like a child.Remember we are here to read about 2 men falling in love. They " can " look like men. I honestly think that's a big reason why masc bottoms are so popular.

Ok , last rant about bl. I might sometimes give criticism on bl but honestly it is one of the few things which releases stress from my life
