Beginning in 2011, "Watching My Mom Go Black" started a new run of scenes based on an updated premise. Instead of a son being reluctantly forced to watch his mom "go black", the scenes now featured a daughter joining her mom in an interracial three-way. All the way through 2014, this was basically the set-up of every scene released by the channel (with at least one notable exception I'll discuss in a separate post). In all, they made 24 such scenes until rebranding themselves yet again in 2015. Since then, they sporadically released eight more, giving the channel some refreshing variety.

I'll be taking a look at all 36 scenes and providing brief reviews of each, starting with the first 8 in this post. We'll see how these compare to the scenes from their first era and judge whether this rebrand was the right choice for the channel.

1. Sindi Star & Tweety Valentine (A-tier): I like how quickly they jump into the scene, providing the bare minimum in terms of buildup before Sindi is propositioning Shane Diesel. It's refreshing after the unnecessarily drawn-out openings of earlier scenes. Sindi has a bit too much chatter throughout, but some of it is pretty good. Shane Diesel is great as always, with one of the most god-like bodies in the industry and plenty of charisma. The standout here was Tweety Valentine. It's extremely arousing watching her get mercilessly pounded by Shane's massive cock thanks in part to her youthful appearance and slender body. The ending, which I won't spoil here, really elevates the scene. This was a great first entry in the mother-daughter series!
2. Tina Dove & Jordan Kingsley (B-tier): A bit of a step down from the previous scene. Tina and Jordan both look good, especially as they're getting fucked, but neither does well with their dialogue (which is disappointing since this takes about five minutes to get started). Flash Brown is always reliably good. Disregarding the story and focusing solely on the sex, it's still pretty hot and has lots of strong moments.
3. Shay Foxx & Haley Cummings (G-tier): This might be controversial, but I think this is the first truly great scene from the channel. Literally everything comes together perfectly in a way no earlier scenes did. All three leads, including Flash Brown again, look ridiculously attractive and have great chemistry, deliver their dialogue with confidence and fuck with skill. I had seen this one before, and I'm glad to say it held up beautifully! I'll probably make a separate post about how great it is. If you haven't seen it, you have to right away!
4. Alexandra Silk & Casey Cumz (C-tier): Interestingly, the mother, Alexandra, doesn't make her appearance until over eight minutes into the scene, while Casey is giving Flash a blowjob. The whole things feels very understated and low-key. Even the dialogue is delivered softly in what I think is meant to seem more erotic. There's just nothing that really stands out, although it isn't a bad scene. Alexandra and Casey are both fine, if unexciting, and Flash is good as usual.
5. Tia Gunn & Angel Cakes (D-tier): Another scene that launches past the setup with almost comical speed. Not much else to say here. Angel and Tia are both pretty weak performers and I didn't find either of them very attractive, especially not Tia's absurd fake tits. Overall, the scene is just sort of dull.
6. Dee Siren & Cherish Red (D-tier): Between the high school setting and Cherish's braces, the set-up here felt somewhat creepy. Unfortunately, it doesn't really improve from there. If this had just been a scene between Dee and Shane Diesel, it would have been alright, but Cherish is a distractingly untalented performer and unattractive. There isn't much to recommend.
7. Charlee Chase & Samantha Faye (G-tier): There's a lot to love in this scene. Jack Napier is hilarious, the set is delightfully weird, Samantha is basically addicted to Jack's cock, and we have MILF legend Charlee Chase. It should come as no surprise that this was another home run for the channel. The sex is fantastic and it's shockingly entertaining from the great chemistry of the trio and legitimately funny moments. It also features another memorable ending!
8. Allie James & Erica Lauren (A-tier): After a bit of a slow start, this turned out much better than I was expecting. Rico Strong has a dominant personality when dealing with mother and daughter, which adds extra flavor to the scene. Both Allie and Erica are clearly enjoying themselves and really get into it while taking Rico's cock. A good way to close out 2011!

All in all, 2011 was a mostly strong year with only a few disappointments. Next, I'll be looking at 2012, which coincidentally also has eight scenes for me to watch! See you then!

When looking back across the of "Watching My Mom Go Black", this scene stands out for being the last release before the channel's reinvention. For the first two years, every scene followed the same basic premise where a son unwillingly watches as his mother fucks a big black cock (usually due to blackmail or debt). As the first scene of 2011, this was the last scene to feature that premise.

For the rest of 2011 and the four years that followed, the channel almost exclusively released scenes where a mother and daughter fucked a black man together. Considering how poorly integrated the sons were in most of the channel's early scenes and how hesitant they often were to explore the kink at the center of the concept, it made sense to pivot toward a new concept. (I'll be discussing my thoughts on that era in an upcoming post, so stay tuned.)

As the last scene of what I suppose you could call "classic" or "vintage" WMMGB, this provides a fitting close. It's not the best, but it's hands-down better than most of the scenes that came before it. The son is given more to do that usual, making frequent pleas for Carrie Ann to stop, which she mostly ignores. I often prefer the mother to talk back and belittle the son in these early scenes (otherwise the scene can feel more like typical interracial with a white guy awkwardly there in the background) but Carrie Ann plays it as too cock-crazy to pay her son any attention, so I think she makes it work.

Carrie Ann has a beautiful body and looks like she genuinely loves black cock. She's easily one of the most attractive women featured on the channel. It's a shame he didn't film any more scenes for the channel after this. As for the son, he appears to be the same age as her, which adds a bit of unintentional humor.

This is typical early "Watching My Mom Go Black", but it's done well and has a fantastic star to help it stand out. This is an easy A-tier rating from me, and I'll gladly be rewatching this one. It's definitely in the Top 10 scenes from this era!

Before getting into any specifics, I'm pleased to say that 2010 represented a marked improvement for the channel over their debut year, 2009. Although they released fewer scenes (just 23 as opposed to 25), the average quality was much better, which is especially true of the performers. There are at least six scenes from 2010 that I would consider genuine classics of the channel.

Sadly, one thing that did not improve was the storytelling. Again and again, I had to sit through identical setups, which quickly became irritating. The son is caught by the mother doing something immoral (stealing, gambling, etc) with a black criminal or owes money to a black criminal, necessitating the mother to teach him a lesson by forcing him to watch her fuck said black criminal. In isolation, the storyline works well enough, but recycled over 40 times, it becomes obvious how little thought went into these scenes from a narrative perspective.

It's also disappointing to see all of the black characters reduced to stereotypical criminal roles. These scenes provide a window into the racial stereoptyes common in older interracial porn before the days of Blacked and similar pioneers. Some performers, notably Sean Michaels and Jack Napier, handled this limitation much better than others, lending their roles a certain toughness and charm which enlivens their scenes, but mostly it just falls flat, especially when most cases involve Shorty Mac.

For those who have followed my reviews thus far, here at last is the Shorty Mac rant you've probably been expecting. I don't mean to sound unnecessarily rude, but having sat through 38 of his performances, I've grown a serious distaste for his abilities in porn. With his small stature, stocky build, lisping voice, protruding lower lip, and ill-fitting clothes, he seems like a dim-witted child. Most of the scene introductions feature heavy amounts of improv, at which he has no skill (he can't go one scene without saying "grown-ass man"). Apart from being blessed with a large cock, there really is no quality to recommend him. Every other black performer outshines him, and I was left feeling frustrated that we couldn't have had more scenes with higher-caliber men.

Looking back on his 38 scenes (far more than anyone else on the channel) I'm not at all sure why he was chosen to be the face of the brand, although I have a few theories. For 2009, this may have been seen as too strange of a concept for most performers to want to associate too heavily with, so he was their best option in a difficult situation. Maybe he was less expensive to hire than other performers, saving the channel money. It could be that he was less in demand, so his schedule made him more easily available. Alternatively, he may have had something to do with the channel's creation. Whatever the reason, I think it's inarguable that his replacement by more attractive and skilled performers dramatically improved the channel's quality. His final scene was followed up with a release starring Shane Diesel, who's everything you'd want in a porn star.

Back on the subject of story, there are a few scenes that try to break the mold, which gave me a welcome change of pace from the typical cliches. The scenes starring Mandy Sweet and Katie Angel both feature scenarios where the mother is already in a sexual relationship with their black co-star, avoiding the criminal angle entirely. Mandy's scene handles this well, having the son's disgusting racism as the justification for his punishment. Forcing him to watch his mother enthusiastically take Shane Diesel's massive cock is here a much more satisfying comeuppance which serves a narrative purpose. Katie's scene, unfortunately, lacks a clear motivation for the son to stay and watch, which makes the whole thing feel confusing and poorly thought-out. Still, I appreciated them trying something different.

Out of the 25 scenes released in 2009, there were only 7 I'd consider recommending. From 2010, however, I'd recommend 12 (over half of the 23 scenes released that year)! I also wouldn't place any of 2010's releases in the F-tier despite giving that rating to four scenes from 2009. The quality still hasn't reached the levels of what they would produce in the the past 10 years, but it was a huge step in the right direction.

The four strongest scenes of the year, all in the S-tier, were those starring Darla Crane, Alia Janine, Mandy Sweet, and Kylie Ireland. In the A-tier, we have June Summers and Stephanie Wylde. All of these are well-worth a watch, and I'll be making individual posts reviewing each of them.

Entering 2011, the channel would make a decision that was to dramatically reinvent its identity and alter its content for years. It would also begin a downward trend in the channel's output frequency, never again matching the high numbers of releases from 2009 and 2010. With that in mind, instead of looking at the year 2011 on its own, my next summary post will cover what I'm calling "Phase Two" of Watching My Mom Go Black. See you all then!

In a continuation of an earlier post, I'm providing my brief thoughts on Shorty Mac's scenes, which have proven to be an excruciating slog. Last time, I reviewed 17 of the scenes from 2009, of which only 4 were worthwhile. Now, I'm putting myself through it again in a spirit of completionism and in the hopes that this round will be better than the first. Whether that will be the case, we can find out together below:

1. Kitty Caulfield (B-tier): Kitty is hot as fuck and is carrying this entire scene on her shoulders because otherwise it's the same as all the rest
2. Lake Russell (C-tier): Just sort of boring, very generic
3. Lisa Demarco (B-tier): Similar to Kitty's scene, a generic entry made better by a sexy lead
4. Joclyn Stone (B-tier): Joclyn has a great no-bullshit attitude that really won me over
5. Raven Black (C-tier): More dull than I expected, even with Raven's fun energy, also oddly low volume compared to other scenes
6. Nicole Moore (B-tier): Most cinematic reveal of the mom in the intro. On the one hand, Nicole isn't much of a performer. On the other hand, she's one of the hottest women the channel's had on. For that reason, the rating gets a bump.
7. Kendra Secrets (C-tier): Kendra starts off a bit rough but gets better as the scene goes on. Still, nothing here to recommend it above the rest.
8. Vanessa Videl (D-tier): Vanessa is WAY overdoing it here to the point where it seems like a parody. Her attempts at being arousing come off as comical, like a porn Norma Desmond.
9. Stunning Summer (C-tier): Another very typical scene for the channel, although she does have a nice thick ass and thighs
10. June Summers (A-tier): June looks insanely sexy here, and she makes sure to keep the son involved periodically, which is great to see!
11. India Summer (C-tier): Look, as a big fan of India, I'm as surprised as anyone how mid this was. Some terrible lighting and not one of India's most enthusiastic performances. The material didn't really play to her strengths. She's best when she's more low-key and seductive.
12. Michaela Mancini (C-tier): The most notable part of the scene is how comically long it takes Shorty to cum at the end; three-and-a-half minutes of awkward jerking off.
13. Zoey Andrews (D-tier): Zoey has some good curves but doesn't seem used to being on camera. I couldn't stop wondering who the chick was from the intro to the scene. She looked amazing! If you know her name, tell me in the comments!
14. Bobbi Lennox (B-tier): Bobbi is so fun to watch here. She's a natural performer who knows how to hold attention. The weak point is the son, who seems unsure of how to act.
15. Kylie Ireland (S-tier): Kylie might be the angriest mom yet, and I am so here for it! She perfectly understands the kink at the heart of what this channel is all about. This is the second-best scene so far, eclipsed only by Flower Tucci's gangbang. I'll have to do a separate post just for this one. I'm even contemplating whether to bump this up to G-tier!
16. Stephanie Wylde (A-tier): Shorty's final scene is here, and it took that asshole FOUR minutes to cum after pulling out at the end. Good riddance! I'm being generous in my rating, ignoring the awkward ending and focusing on Stephanie and Ice Cold, who are both great. Stephanie looks amazing, especially with the fan on set blowing her hair back majestically.

All things considered, this was a much stronger lineup of scenes than 2009, with some seriously amazing entries on here, but I'll get to all of my final thoughts in my upcoming 2010 wrap-up post.

There are a lot of porn stars who I love, but none of them drive me as crazy as the flawless model Ashely Graham. Although it took my much longer than expected due to unforeseen delays, I've finally watched every scene from 2009 (when the site was launched). In just six months, they released 25 scenes, almost all of which featured (for better or worse) their original star player Shorty Mac.

These early scenes are far weaker than the site's more well-known later entries and show a lack of confidence in the theme. In many scenes, the sons either disappear for most of the runtime or have no interaction with their "mothers" after the intimacy begins. The studio didn't seem to know what to do with the concept of a son watching his mother "go black", so they mostly revert back to normal interracial scenes which happen to have another man sitting in the background. Many of the women featured are generally unappealing, either due to unattractive appearance or lack of screen presence. The overuse of Shorty Mac also works against the scenes, as (apart from a thick cock) he lacks sex appeal or charisma.

Looking back at the ratings I gave, the vast majority sit in the C-tier; not exactly good or bad but entirely middling and uninspired. Considering how much they all feel like copies of each other, I find it difficult to recommend any of them. Beneath those, I placed three scenes in the D-tier and four in the F-tier. Especially compared to the iconic interracial porn of the 2010s, the scenes feel dated and cheap, reusing the same sets and featuring shoddy lighting and camera work that often feel unprofessional.

On the whole, this was a deeply disappointing introduction to the brand. Nearly every scene followed one of the same two stories. In Story A, the delinquent son is involved in some harebrained scheme with Shorty Mac and is quickly caught by his mother, who inexplicably decides to make Shorty Mac go away by fucking him while the ashamed son watches (or, as often as not, leaves the room). In Story B, the son owes money to Shorty (and sometimes Shorty's friends), causing them to go to his home and blackmail his mother into sex to settle the debt, again making the son watch. They aren't particularly engaging setups to begin with, so seeing them played out so many times becomes grating very quickly.

Happily, there are a few glimmers of hope hidden within the larger mire of mediocrity and failure. Out of 25 scenes, there are still a few I would consider worth watching. Janet Mason's two scenes both earned a B-tier, as did Rae Rodgers. They aren't great, but they have all some moments of quality. Syren de Mer and Julia Ann both gave A-tier debuts on the channel, which is to be expected for stars of their caliber. It's obvious why they are two of the most successful women in the industry.

The two best scenes by far were the gangbangs featuring Friday and Flower Tucci. These easily stand among the very best scenes the channel ever produced, especially Flower Tucci's scene, which capitalizes on the conceit of a son forced to watch his mother go black better than any other scene released that year. Both scenes and both stars should be far more well-known than they are, making them underrated gems!

Next up is 2010, when the reign of Shorty Mac finally came to an end. I'm excited to watch what that year had to offer and whether they were able to improve the quality of their output. I hope you've been enjoying my journey through Watching My Mom Go Blacked!

After watching Flower Tucci's fantastic appearance, I realized that I would have to slog through another 33 scenes starring Shorty Mac, a proposition that was highly unfavorable. Instead of providing full reviews of each, I've decided to do a lightning round giving the briefest thoughts on them. I'll make separate posts for the strongest entries. I hope you all enjoy!

1. Misty Vonage (C-tier): Decent but repetitive or earlier scenes, Misty is fun on camera, Shorty Mac is better here than usual
2. Honey White (C-tier): Boring, repetitive of earlier gangbangs, Honey lacks screen presence, the image of the son covered in ropes is idiotic
3. Jaycie Lane (C-tier): I'm tired of seeing the exact same setup in every scene. Shorty is always providing a bad influence on the son, so the mother fucks him to make him go away. Yawn.
4. Desi Foxx (D-tier): Same old shit. Desi isn't particularly hot. The filmmaking is lazy.
5. Janet Mason (B-tier): Yeah, it's the same exact storyline as the other gangbangs, but Janet Mason elevates it slightly. Needed more interaction with the son, who is quickly forgotten.
6. Morgan Ray (D-tier): Morgan is trying way to hard here. She is not a natural performer. No surprise this was her only scene for Dogfart.
7. Joey Lynn (C-tier): Some good trash talk to the son, and Joey is attractive. Nothing particularly strong here, but better than average.
8. Kylie G Worthy (C-tier): Kylie has a good body. Otherwise, same old same old.
9. Nya (C-tier): The son is actually entertaining in this ("Ma! Watch ya language!"). Nothing else about this stood out at all.
10. Dana Hayes (F-tier): I wasn't turned on at all, but at least they tried something different with the story. It didn't work, but it was something. Awful scene though.
11. Syren de Mer (A-tier): Finally! Syren is one of the greatest of all time, so it's no surprise that her scene is miles ahead of the others I've just listed. She has so much star power! It's like watching an Oscar winner come on stage after sitting through a bunch of community theater actors.
12. Kelly Leigh (C-tier): And we're back in the slump again. Another scene where the son is totally irrelevant, making you wonder why they even made it.
13. Debbie Dial (C-tier): Debbie is hotter than most of the women so far, but seems uncomfortable on camera. The son is also absent for most of the scene.
14. Rae Rodgers (B-tier): Better than average. Rae understood the assignment.
15. Kiera Kensley (D-tier): This whole thing felt very amateurish.
16. Chenin Black (F-tier): The fuck was that? Weird set-up and not at all arousing. Another mostly absentee son.
17. Jordan Blue (F-tier): I was SHOCKED to learn that she has five other scenes with Dogfart, which tells you everything you need to know about her quality as a performer.

As an American, I feel somewhat spoiled by the high number of iconic porn stars we have. I would even say it's safe to assume that the United States has produced more performers in the industry than any other country by a wide margin. That's why I decided to reflect on my top 10 favorites from outside of my home country.

Here are the rules I set for myself: the women had to be raised in a foreign country (if they moved to the USA before age 10, they were not considered) AND they had to be known for their boy/girl hardcore scenes (no softcore actresses who did a handful of hardcore shoots).
