Why did everyone here start locking up or why did you ask your SO about it? Was it actually about the aspect of denial/femdom, or did you just specifically have a chastity kink? Or was it for something completely different?

I posted a bit ago asking how everyone asked about it, but I think another one of my big hold ups on talking to my wife about it is that I don't really know why I wanna, or if it's a good enough reason.

Part of me thinks that I just like the idea of her locking me short term for date nights, but at the same time I don't really know if I would actually enjoy the repeated denial aspect of longer term locks too. I've spent basically my entire life with very little impulse control around masturbating so I don't even really know what it's like to be without for more than a couple days.

For those of you engaging in chastity with a SO, how did you talk to them about it? Did you drop any hints or build up to it or just pop the question out of the blue? And when you finally talked about it what did each of you say?

I've been thinking of asking my wife for quite some time now, but I just don't know how to approach it and just have a deep irrational fear of rejection. I'd really like to hear from anyone who has talked to their SO about it, whether it led to something or not. I especially want to hear if there's anyone that started chastity with their SO as key holder and ended up stopping for whatever reason.
