This person happened to be a friend of ours and was the one who expressed interest. We had a great time one night went a couple rounds, shared some laughs and have went back to being platonic friends. This is amazing and I count ourselves lucky. However, we never got to discuss much with her after the fact. Everything was pretty good she said to my wife that she would be open to it in the future but didn’t want it to ever feel forced. We never put pressure on this as far as we could tell. There was one time when she visited and I passively complimented her on her core strength. We were messing around moving things around our house. I felt like this was a harmless affirmation that turned out to be something she got in her head about. She ended up talking to my wife about it and asked her if she felt weird about it. She explained no she was totally comfortable with it. For me it felt like it was just a friend complimenting another friend on their effort. I ended up talking to her about it to clear the air and things basically seemed pretty good since then. Although she hasn’t been as excited or interested in coming to visit or keeping in touch with my wife. I sometimes start group convos just to check in. We both fantasize about it happening again with her but perhaps that ship has sailed? I know there are things I would change. I really didn’t get to talk about what she wanted out of it and things I could do to please her and my wife. Perhaps these are lessons learned for the future and not worth pursuing with her unless somehow it casually came up? I take pleasure in taking the lead as a man, but when it comes to threesomes I feel caught in between wanting to do that for us, but I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable ever. Anyone ever have success with friend and go back to being platonic? Did/does it ever come? Even just getting to have a conversation about it without it leading anywhere would be gratifying to hear her perspective.
