I hope so, as this is not my first time and I have learned a lot in the last couple of years after having my first affair lasting 6 months but ending early last year.
This may seem a bit forward, but one thing I've learned is it's best to be entirely clear about what you're looking for, that way you both know where you stand. Therefore, I'm looking for:
- Someone who's had an affair, either online or IRL before.
- Someone who will put the effort in. I have a lot to give and would like someone to match that energy. Low effort is unattractive.
- Someone who knows what they want.
- Someone who wants to have some fun and enjoy this. We're here as our lives haven't turned out the way we hoped so let's take some light relief and solace in each other.
- Someone exclusive.
- UK based.
This may seem like I'm awfully bad company but it absolutely isn't intended that way, but I do enjoy the direct approach and if you're the same then we may just get on.
Now, with the list of requirements out the way, let's move on. I'm a 35 year old going through what can best be described as a crisis of self.. in that I didn't really expect to see myself here, but having experienced it I found that I just really enjoyed the thrill, excitement and lust of falling for someone new. It's such a great feeling and I want it again. I'm looking for longer term, and a respectful relationship where we know we can't always message like teenagers because of actual life.. but can still find time for eachother.
Interests wise, I'm getting back into reading and writing. I used to read and write all the time, right from primary school through to my late 20s, but life then slowed it down, but I'm making the time and enjoying the release it brings. I work in a pretty stressful role, but I don't let it dictate my life, and still find time to pursue what I enjoy - drinking nice wine and eating too much cheese and meats.
Looks wise, I'm tall, blue eyed and a pretty normal build save for the addition of a bit of a dad bod these days. I am active, and enjoy being outdoors as much as physically possible. Even over the winter months I'll try and go out to hike as much as I can and to look at pretty things in the countryside.
