Hello r/seed_irl! I’m looking for crossover fics where the affini invade the Wormverse(that is, the fictional universe established in the web novels Worm and Ward by Wildbow).

Hi y’all, I really liked BoB’s gameshow, so I decided to remake it in the HDG-verse! 

Below is my modification of the show:

Name: Floret or Freedom

Summary: participants either become a floret or be able to escape from the Compact(very rare :O)

Rules:

1. The participant can quit any time so long as they verbally express their quitting or touch an emergency button nearby.
2. The participant is to progress through 5 total rounds, with the amount of mystery boxes shown in the table below.
3. Each participant is to select a specific amount of mystery boxes in order to progress to the next round. 
4. Each Box will feature 3 choices that will either change the participant physically, mentally, or legally. The Freedom boxes will grant the participant legal immunity to one of the laws of the Compact(with the end result being total freedom from the Compact), while the Domestication(also called Florting) boxes will transform the participant physically and mentally. (categories and examples below)
5. The audience(mainly Affinis and Florets) will participate in voting which of the three choices the participant will be subjected to for each Domestication Box. The participant will be free to choose whatever law they want to be exempt from if they get a Freedom Box.
6. If a participant finishes all five rounds, they can either choose to relinquish everything they have earned and become a floret to the host, or be independent and get a spaceship with legal immunity to being domesticated. 
7. The host will be picked from the audience “at random”(as advertised to independents and ferals), based on a survey before the start of each show to find the most compatible Affini to the participant. 
8. The host cannot physically touch the participant but can verbally engage in conversations.
9. Getting 5 freedom boxes also grants the participant freedom.

Box types and examples

Freedom: 

Idk any Affini laws so varies by author ig

Maybe reverse the effect of a florting box 

Florting:

Administer some Class A xeno drugs (Makes participant a bit woozy and impairs judgement)

Remove or add a memory with Class B (Molds participant’s personality to be better suited for receiving care from Affini)

Give physical changes with Class G (Gives participant more suited body as well as set a feeling of inevitability and sunken cost fallacy)

Make them like the host with Class C (Makes participant not opposed to being florted by them)

Get temporarily high with Class L (Increased impairment of participants judgement)

Make peace with the past with Class S (Allows participant to let go of past traumas to better accept future as a floret)

Get a Haustoric Implant (should be near end of story for the finishing blow to signify participant’s change in body, mind, and soul)
