New H2 + Hands Free setup: Looking for Handy controllers that work more like an advanced version of the random stoker on Handyverse than a script or an AI chatbot. Hands free setup for attention
Hey guys,
I would like to give a quick intro and review on the Handy 2 and ask for suggestions on controllers.
Intro and Review
I had an h1 and moved away from the handy device after a rough start with h1's. I received 2 different units DOA. Forgive and forget, despite all the nonsense I hear about the h2 problems I am a sucker and I was curious so I grabbed an h2 pro this week. First test last night was good, hope it lasts.
A little background, I have h1, now h2 pro, arcwave ion, vacuglide 2 and an OSR2+. I also have tons of sleeves, fleshlights, clamps, magic arms, mounts etc etc so I would consider myself a seasoned user of all of the above.
Overall I would say the h2 pro is pretty good so far. Liked the battery option as I think my biggest gripe with all this crap is the setup time. I found even as a new user once I got everything setup and online I was getting to the action in no time. The combination of the quick attach sleeve and battery made it a breeze.
Here are some pictures of my hands free set up. I have a lot of options but this is the setup I mostly used for my h1 and my OSR. I like to sit in the bed but also have the option to lay down.
I am using a super clamp and a large teethed magic arm that connect together using the 5/8th inch baby pin connectors. I swapped to these after sheering off a few 1/4 inch camera screws on different mounts. Indestructible. They also work much better for heavier and rowdier devices like the OSR2+. My goal was to have most of my hardware work with either device. The superclamp attaches to an old plywood structure that I believe came from a toddler play setup. I have used this as a counter weight for all of my setups for some time. I weight the board down with my weighted blanket and it works wonderfully.
I use an off-brand quickshot modified with an acrylic tube to give myself a larger better mounting surface. I have liked this setup as it works well with both my handys and my OSR and gives me a few other advantages I can go into if anyone is curious.
I attach this modified quickshot to the handy with 2 reusable zip ties. I find these work way better than any velcro strap and creats a tighter connection with the machine, less give, more feel for the user.
Every single product I am using here is available on amazon, happy to share links.
The Question
I am looking for handy controllers that allow the user to select more advanced patterns and sensations. Think the Handyverse random stoker but even more features.
My favorite sensations are strokes that pause halfway up or down and then continue. Strokes that go up faster than they go down. Strokes that start slow and slowly speed up as they go up and down. Things like that. I find I feel more pleasure with erratic and unpredictable motion, with all of the controllers I have found, what comes up goes down basically the same way.
I am not a fan of scripted content because most of it is too fast and to be honest I use video content etc. to get in the mood but once I start using my device I am focused on sensation over visuals.
I am also interested in controllers that work well and are reliable, I have found some controllers that look promising but they are old, beta versions, misbehave or crash often. Looking for something stable.
