Just in need of a little mental reassurance today. I'm only 3 weeks in and wondering how long i have to live with this fluid swelling under the head.

I have had swelling only in one side under the glans, like the inner skin is swollen. Yesterday day 16, swelling looked really less, almost gone, and today morning it looks swollen again? Is this normal for it to keep changing? how do I fix it?

At my two week review the doc just casually pulled off the ZSR silicone staple ring. It didn’t hurt one bit. However hours later the frenulum is still oozing and there’s a tiny patch of blood especially after the morning erection. How do I sort out the fren area? It’s still tender to touch.

Day 13 and I’m healing pretty alright. Staples aren’t out yet, however. I noticed after using the ointment 3 times daily as instructed (last 10 days), there’s a lot of white oily residue near the incision, so is it alright to maybe skip a day or two? I feel drying out the wound might help the staples and ring to fall out faster? (ZSR method)

ZSR stapler method done 9 days ago, and my penis looks like shit. Still swollen and staples aren’t out. Healing is slow and thankfully isn’t getting worse but isnt getting better fast either. Those who have been through it, how do you deal with anxiety and fears that things will get better? Really need some encouragement right now I guess. Long road ahead.

Day 8 and I’m impatient for the silicone ring and staples to fall out. Can I do anything to promote them to fall? I’m waiting to get back to normal life.

My Dr has told me to apply ointment to the ring (ZSR) to encourage it to heal but the thing is it’s hidden close under the head and it’s painful/sensitive to pull the shaft down to use ointment. It’s Day 7 by the way.

Had ZSR done 7 days ago and today went for the weekly checkup. Seems to be healing fine aside from slight swelling. Doc prescribed a tablet to reduce the swelling and asked me to apply Neosporin ointment along the stapler ring. Thing is the ring/staples are under the skin beneath the glans and I’d have to retract the skin to put ointment in. It’s too sensitive for that but the doc said to still do it.

Aside from that waiting for the staples/ring to fall so that this long process finally ends.
