Question about phimosis

So, I am 20 years old. Recently I have discovered that I have type 2 phimosis. I have read about stretching and I would like to try that but I am afraid of getting hurt so I would like anyone to give me some advice on this one.

I’m I ok?

When I first heard about phimosis, I had to check my own penis. I pulled it back first time it hurt me but the next following weeks it became less painful. My foreskin doesn’t show my head when it erected, should I pull it back or nah, advice?

Do i have phimosis?

Hi, im going for a frenuloplasty surgery in the 12th of june due to a short frenulum however i think i also have mild phimosis, my urologist recommended a circumsicion but i said no as i want to keep all of my foreskin. When soft i can pull the skin back no problem, however when erect the skin retracts itself to about half way down the glans and then it stops, i can pull it back behind the glans with no problem the only thing stopping it from going further back is the short frenulum, however it does the skin feels quite tight around the penis when retracted and when i let go the foreskin stops behind the glans for a moment and then goes back over by itself, is this normal or does is sound like i have phimosis aswell as ive never been able to tell as ive never been able to retract the skin fully due to short frenulum. Appreciate any help

How bad is this, feels tight when erect

What can be done?

It's difficult to pull back the foreskin and glans also feels oversensitive

Feel like I am running out of options

I have been part of this sub for ages now.

I discovered I had phimosis years ago, and my GP said because I was young it would likely resolve itself, fast forward to late 2024 and it never resolved itself, I went back and got a referral for urology. And as so many urologists do, I was instantly recommended a circumcision despite insisting I don't want surgery unless it is conservative, i.e. frenuloplasty and/or preputioplasty.

I learned about stretching and I saw great results (see my profile), I went from type 1/2 phimosis to full retraction just below the glans, however it is incredibly tight. I have tried frenulum stretching with very little luck. I have been stretching for probably 18 months, using fingers as a lever. I have tried the rings, they don't work. the skin doesn't wrap around them properly and I can't get it working.

I have seen no progress for months and feel like its inevitable to need surgery, but im really scared in case surgery doesn't work. I do not want a circumcision.

I am a virgin for religious reasons (26 y/o) and the last thing I want is to not be intimate with a prospective wife or be able to satisfy her because my penis is very tight when i reach full retraction

I need help..

Soo I’ve been stretching for about two weeks every night not like doing the stretching workouts but just pulling my foreskin back and one night I left my foreskin back while I was sleeping..now when I’m flaccid I can move my foreskin down with a little force nothing crazy like easy force to clean the smegma but when I’m erect I can pull it down under my head with a good amount of force..I’ve seen videos online of men who are un cut they can pull down with no problem at all any exercises I can do to get to that point quickly with just at home supplies or my hands.i also don’t know what stage I’m at with phimosis and when I pull down under my head when I’m erect it gets stuck under my head and feels tight not badly tight just tight any tips…

Is the glans supposed to eventually not hurt?

i am almost free from phimosis as i just grew older honestly (need to do a little more stretching when i am bricked), but the issue isnt the pain of stretching, but honestly its the sensitivity of my glans. i know since it doesn't have a lot of contact that it is going to be quite sensitive (as I am circumcised if that wasn't obvious). However, eventually, would it be possible to make my glans not sensitive at all? Is this even necessary?

Does Anyone Else Have This Problem?

Basically looking for advice from other people who have had this issue themselves as I look on the subreddit and it seems relatively uncommon.

I have no problem retracting when flaccid or erect but my problem appears after the foreskin retracts past the glans. After the foreskin is retracted past the glans a tight ring appears around the circumference of my penis right beneath the glans and that area creates a tightness feeling. Not sure what stretches are needed to fix this as it isn’t typical phimosis like I see on this subreddit.

Thank you for any advice.

I feel nothing

M22,uncut,and I can't retract my foreskin,I can't even see the tip of my glans. I always masturbated keeping it covered, actually until a couple of months ago i didn't know you were supposed to pull back the skin. The thing is,not only i can't retract, but when i masturbate I feel almost nothing,to the point where i frequently lose my erection(to actually feel a bit of pleasure i have to masturbate once in a couple weeks or so). In a couple of days i'll see a doctor and i'll ask him too,but is this also related to my phimosis? I heard that circumcision causes to feel less pleasure, but so far for me it was the same.

2nd stretch

Wow! The progress!! I have a feeling with a month or 2 I’ll be able to roll it over , this is the first time in 33 years I’ve seen the head of my penis!

Can this be treatable by stretching?

If so, how long would it take with the cream + rings? How bad is the condition? This is the furthest I can go. Is the redness on the foreskin normal?

I know it's not very clean, but it is very very sensitive on that part

Boyfriend has phimosis

Hey all, we are wanting to have sex but I've never had sex with someone who has phimosis before. I am worried that I might hurt him, or that somehow I could cause him or I to get an infection.

His phemosis is between type 3 and 4 i think?

When he is erect only his urethra and a tiny bit of the head is visable but he can not retract the foreskin at all. We mostly just do hand stuff as I dont want to hurt him but we both want sex so badly that it is bound to happen eventually.

Has anyone had sex and you or your partner has had negative repercussions??

Urologist said i should get circumcised

i've been to 2 doc , a dermatologist who just examined while its flacid said this much is fine don't worry and just advised me to use lot of lube, then just for the sake of second opinion i took few pics of it erect and went to a urologist, who said i need to get it snipped.

the urologist said , he has seen plenty of cases where ppl try stretching they all end up back to circumcision , i asked about if its possible to have sex [without condom], said it would likely bleed time to time and hurt , when i asked if lube is a option said ,lube is fine if its a 1 time thing but to do that regularly would not be feasible. when i asked about stretching techniques and rings any alternatives , said those are pointless for adults , when you are less then 6 yr there are various treatments that they can do, but as a adult , its not going to work it wont expand

kind a bummed out... i'll visit 2 other doctors before deciding , this guy had 27yr of experience

Phimosis came back after 7 years

I was succesfully able to stretch my foreskin from not being able to pull it back flaccid, to having comfortable sex with the skin pulled back erect, 7 years ago. I don't even know how it happened, I didn't have a rigorous stretching routine and it seemed more like a miracle.

I was fine after that. But last couple weeks my foreskin is back to how it was. Tight. Painful to pull back flaccid.

There has to be a reason for this, why would it just completely, seemingly random tighten up again?

Can an STD do this? Another condition?

I hope I can have the same succes again that I had 7 years ago. But i have little tiny tears now which make my foreskin even tighter.

Anyone with some advice?
