Little red line/irritation along bottom of penis (2 months post op)

So I’ve noticed this little red line along the bottom of my penis for maybe 2 weeks now? Towards the base, across the scar line. At first I thought maybe I rubbed it wrong and didn’t feel it since I don’t have sensation there that much yet, but it hasn’t gone away. Maybe it’s just from the way it lays naturally? The skin isn’t used to it, after all. Maybe it just needs a minute to adjust? Does anyone else have experience with this?

Erotic sensation so far (2 months post op)

Just wanted to post this in case others were curious!

At about 6 weeks post op when I was cleared for masturbation, I was only able to get pleasure from the spot right between my base and my balls where my tdick was buried. I could only really get pleasure from a vibrator pushed against that area, it wasn’t sensitive enough to rub or anything.

At 7 weeks post op I started to feel some pleasure from gentle ‘tugging’ on the base of my penis. It felt like it was stroking my burial which felt pretty good but not enough to orgasm without the help of a vibrator or anal. I noticed that I have precum bead at my tip too.

At 8 weeks post op the pleasure from the gentle ‘tugging’ intensified to the extent where I can orgasm from just stroking my dick. I have much more sensitivity when I orgasm, it feels like some inner nerves woke up. Also ‘palming’ feels really good, like moving the whole bulge instead of stroking just the shaft. I can orgasm from that as well. When I do orgasm, I usually drip out some cum too. (Or a lot, depending on how long the session was. For example, after a longer session I came MORE than the amount of cum my boyfriend usually ejaculates.)

And that’s where we are so far!

Favorite boxers? (Post Op, not propping)

I used to adore the fit of Rodeoh boxers when I was pre op since they’re gender neutral and weren’t baggy, but they’re a bit too tight now that I have a penis lol. I checked their website to see if I could order a size up, but their options seem to be pretty limited and boring right now. I’ve had my Rodeoh boxers for years and they’re still doing amazing, so I didn’t mind the higher price. But I don’t wanna spend the money on the boring designs.

What boxers have you guys liked the best for everyday wear?

I didn’t expect to actually ‘ejaculate’ so much and it’s super cool

Pre op I was the kind of person that definitely created a decent amount of precum when I was turned on. It wasn’t anything crazy, like I wouldn’t be porno-style dripping, so I didn’t think much about what it would be like post op. I figured I’d have SOME precum leak out but I wasn’t expecting much. I also ejaculated pre-op kind of regularly, so I figured that would eventually happen post op too. But I always FEEL when that happens, at least pre op. Because it was always a very specific feeling.

Anyway I was with my boyfriend for the first time this week since surgery, and I’d noticed that I’d have precum bead at the tip of my dick when I was turned on, which was cool. He made a comment or two about how I was really dripping, but I was a little too distracted to pay attention to if I was or if he was just dirty talking lmao. But over the weekend we experimented with a loose fleshlight and phew boy. When he pulled it off I quite literally said “wow you used a lot of lube” because it was RUNNING out and making a mess. And it was not in fact lube, because the lube he used was a very specific texture that was not runny, and he didn’t add more to the fleshlight after starting, so there wouldn’t have been that much in there when we finished. Granted I’m sure my cum MIXED with the lube a bit but it was insanely euphoric to know that I came, just with clear cum that can’t get anyone pregnant lmao. It was inside a fleshlight obviously so I couldn’t see if it was just a consistent drip or if I actually ejaculated when I came. But to basically ejaculate with every orgasm now is so insane!

Grieving the way you had sex pre op

I’m 2 months post op and have slowly started to get back into stuff with my boyfriend, and everything is just so different. Not bad different, but it’s a huge change. And since I don’t have much sensation yet, it feels like a ‘loss’ with the gain of my dick. I used to really love oral and right now I obviously wouldn’t be able to feel it at all. And I don’t have any real sensitivity like I used to. It sucks but I know it’ll eventually be so much better than it was pre op, once my sensation gets better. It’s a weird feeling

Chastity cage recommendations for a beginner?

I got an average chastity cage with a 35mm opening and my dick was just too girthy for it. The more I look, the more I see standard cages with a 35mm opening. Does anyone know of any cages that are good for girthy dicks?

7 weeks post op!

Ignore my shotty shaving job, I’ve just been shaving around the incisions.

Feeling okay about it, looking better and better each week. Insecure about the light hair growth on my penis so I’m planning to get some more laser hair removal once I hit 6 months post op per my surgeons instructions. Getting medical tattooing at 3 months post op (in October! Woo!) so I’m excited for that cus I know that’ll make a huge difference.

I’ve been peeing with no complications and my final two slight separations (on my arm and along my perineum) are almost entirely closed! Can’t wait to meet with my urologist again at the end of October to start the process for scrotal implants.

A small separation along my perineum (6 weeks post op)

Apologies in advance for the horrible photo quality, it’s hard to bend and contort to get the right angle and the front camera flash is never that great.

Anyway, I have this little spot right between my scrotum and my anus. I noticed some blood last night, but no pain or anything. Being at 6 weeks post op I’ve been cleared to GENTLY attempt to masturbate, and I’ve been successful with using a vibrator along my balls so I don’t tug or pull or really touch my penis at all. Last night however I decided to try some light anal, just a small butt plug. When I took it out and went to clean up, that’s when I noticed a little blood. I can’t imagine the plug itself pulled my incision open that much, because it would’ve HURT. But I’m thinking maybe it was the final thing that opened it. I’ve been more mobile lately so I’m sure that’s irritated it a bit.

It doesn’t go all the way through, it’s very surface level. I put medihoney on it today because that’s done wonders on my other separation sites that have since closed.

I know to take it easy to let it heal over, obviously no anal until it closes lol. But is there anything else I should be doing? Everything else has been healing so well, my other separations closed like two weeks ago. I’m so disappointed lol, I feel like I messed up and just prolonged my healing.

Dead skin coming out of urethra while urinating? (6 weeks post op)

I haven’t had any issues with urination and have had a strong consistent stream since my catheters came out. Earlier I was peeing like normal, noticed my stream was a little weirdly weak, then all of a sudden my stream just stopped for a few seconds, and then shot out with the normal amount of pressure and a glob of what looks to be dead skin came out in my urine. I was mortified because 1. The feeling of my urethra being plugged for a second was SO WEIRD and 2. It was literally the thickness of a q-tip, and the length of a q-tip too. It was a string of dead skin.

I assume this isn’t abnormal, especially considering I’m 6 weeks post op and haven’t had any dead skin or scabs come out of my urethra until now. And it’s gotta go somewhere, right?

When did you stop leaking after urinating?

I’m 6 weeks post op and have been peeing through my penis for about 2 weeks now. Every time I’m finished, I drag my hand along my scrotum to ‘milk’ out the urine that’s left in my urethra. I’ll stand there for a minute, do the ol’ shake, and it seems like it’s done dripping. Then I leave the bathroom and a minute later the front of my boxers are damp. I know that dribbling can be a common thing for cis men, because penises are just like that, but it’s not the common drip or two so I basically have to have either a urinary pad in my boxers or put some toilet paper over my tip for a little. Did you guys notice it lessening at a certain point post op?

Bruising on underside of penis — normal?

So today I noticed some yellowish bruising along the underside of my penis, and it wasn’t there yesterday. I know bruising is a common thing to see after surgeries, but I never heard of it happening to the penis post op. I’m almost 6 weeks post op too, and haven’t seen bruising till now. Could it be that maybe I just accidentally bumped it and didn’t feel it since sensation hasn’t come back yet? I’m keeping an eye on it and if it seems to not go away or get worse I’m gonna email my surgeon.

5 weeks post op stage 1!

Healing has been going okay, struggling a little with the appearance right now just because it’s so early in the healing process so everything’s a little angry right now.

Only issue I have right now is extra skin growing, you can see it around the head of my penis. It’s that lil red-pink area that looks inflamed, it’s actually extra skin cells growing where they shouldn’t be. So it’s a raised lil area, and I have a similar area on my arm graft that is not in the picture. My surgeon told me to treat the spots with silver nitrate sticks so I’ve been doing that, which is basically killing off the extra raised skin and letting me sculpt it.

I’ve been able to pee perfectly fine, no blockages or leaks. Had minor wound separation along the incision on my v-line and at the top of where my penis is connected, but (as you can see) they’ve healed amazingly! Got my second catheter out today and I stop propping in like 3 days!

I have medical tattooing scheduled for October, and I’ll be getting my testicular implants in December.

Overall I’m extremely happy!

Average ‘this is probably normal, but I want to make sure’ post about post op urethra burning

I know it’s normal to feel pain and burning when you start to pee through your penis. I’ve been doing it for about a week now and am on antibiotics to try to avoid an STI. It was getting better with every single time I peed, to the extent where it wasn’t really painful anymore just uncomfortable. But today, I woke up to just a constant consistent burning near where my natal urethra is. Peeing was awful, I took some of my pain meds cus it’s just constant. I assume it’s just healing taking its course and having a rougher day, but I’m anxious person and would love to know if it’s happened to someone else

About how long were you post op when you felt like your penis was not swollen anymore?

I know stuff swells more than we realize, so even though I feel like stuff isn’t swollen, Im curious as to when other guys noticed that their penis was not swollen anymore. I’m very curious to see how my dick feels when it’s naturally soft, I’m excited to see how soft/firm it actually gets and how much right now is just swelling. I just find it interesting. I’m about 5 weeks post op right now.

4 weeks post op, longest I’ve gone without ‘relief’ as a hypersexual

Ever since I was a teenager I’ve been very sexually active with myself. Once I started dating my boyfriend (so for almost 2 years now) I can go a week here and there without thinking about it because obviously it’s more satisfying to have sex with him rather than jerking off alone.

But I am DYING HERE. I feel like my balls are gonna explode and I don’t even have implants yet so they’re technically empty. Four weeks is longer than I’ve ever gone since I started wacking it, and the idea of waiting another two weeks makes me want to slam my head against a wall. Yeah I know it’ll be worth it in the long run cus I get a penis out of this situation and also the first time I have sex after those 6 weeks will be great and I don’t want to mess anything up during healing. I’m surviving because I can rationalize it but GOD I have to be dramatic about it on here.

Three weeks is when I broke for every other surgery. Top surgery and hysto. For both of them I just carefully laid down and used a gentle vibrator. And then after I was done I could go the rest of my healing without needing to do it again, until the restriction was lifted. So I am STRUGGLING. Gnawing at the bars of my enclosure.

Feeling like I’m peeing thru my scrotal incisions ?

I got my penis catheter out yesterday but am still using the abdominal catheter until next week, so when I go to the bathroom and push pee never comes out. I always feel like I HAVE to pee when I go to the bathroom but obviously I never actually pee. However today when I went to the bathroom and pushed, it felt like that sensation of when you’re about to START peeing, right where my natal urethra would be. And immediately some watery blood dripped out of my scrotal incisions. Those incisions have been leaking for the last week so that’s not what concerned me, it’s the sensation that accompanied it. I’m really worried that somehow it was pee mixed with the blood. But I don’t know how that would work with my urethra being hooked up. Wouldn’t it come out of the tip of my penis? Idk, but it’s made me nervous to start my void trials. Anyone else experience this? Was it just the muscles contracting and forcing blood and stuff out?

if you feel like crap post op — SHOWER!!

So I’m just over 3 weeks post op. At 2 weeks post op my surgeons team said to start gently washing everything with antibacterial soap when I change the dressings. But I was too anxious (and too tired) to get in the shower, so I just used body wipes and washed my hair in the sink. I’ve been really dissociated due to not being able to leave the house and having my entire routine flipped on its head, and have post op depression off and on. Plus every time I DID leave the house for an appointment I felt like I looked like absolute crap which made me feel worse overall.

I decided to finally shower with the help of my caretaker yesterday and GUYS the amount of difference it made. My shower pressure isn’t intense at all so I didn’t have to worry about keeping anything from the water, and it actually helped clean things a little more thoroughly. I washed around every healing site (and used the antibacterial like normal for those areas) and even just washing my hair properly and not in a sink made me feel and look so much better. It did absolutely exhaust me, but that led to one of the best sleeps I’ve had since surgery.

So if it’s safe for you to do so, SHOWER!!!

I just got my penis catheter out (yay!) and it’s leaking greyish blood. Normal?

Basically what the title says. It’s pretty sore right now, and it’s leaking when it hasn’t been doing that before. I assume it’s normal but want to make sure.

3 weeks post op, my scrotum incisions keep bleeding when I have a bowel movement

Sooo recently (past couple days) every time I have a bowel movement (which is basically everyday) I end up looking down and seeing blood in the toilet, like bright red blood. Then I’ll wipe and the blood will be coming from the incision running down the center of my balls where everything was closed up below my penis.

There is no wound separation, and this site has been regularly dripping/oozing for the past couple days, almost a week. It’s been mostly pinkish stuff, sometimes yellowish stuff, and usually a little bright red blood as well. But when I go to the bathroom I’ve noticed it makes it bleed. Not to the extent that I’m like ‘this is a problem’ but enough that I’m like ‘I should make sure this is normal’. Like (TMI warning) I’ve torn my butthole before by accident when fooling around and when it would get irritated when I went to the bathroom that’s about the same amount of blood I’m seeing now.

I assume that my pelvic floor is just pushing and working all the inner stuff out? I know all the inside stuff was cauterized and closed up so I know I’m healing internally, and I had some leakage after my hysto a couple years ago which was normal. And I still have my catheters in so that’s definitely making me strain more because pooping without peeing is a WEIRD unsatisfying feeling.

Anyone else experience this?

Betadine paint vs bacitracin(or any other wound site care)

So I reached out to my surgeon with an updated pic of my glansplasty expressing some anxiety about how it was scabbing. One of the RNs replied and said it looked good and should continue to slough off and heal nicely, and that I could use betadine paint on it daily if I wanted. However, when I met with my surgeon’s PA for my post op appointment she said that bacitracin or neosporin should be applied daily and didn’t mention anything about this betadine paint. I’ve been using bacitracin just because I prefer that over neosporin, but I figured I’d come to here to see what you guys have used and preferred. Thoughts?
