the streisand effect

until the scheduling notice, i had never tried m or p, but once it was announced that these alks would eventually be banned, i felt compelled to try them. i doubt i would have ever added either of them to my repertoire if not for Big Daddy Government telling us they'll never be available again on the clear net.

anyone else succumb to this irony, and only really tried out certain extracts BECAUSE we'll never be able to have them again? the old psychology of tell us we can't have something and we'll only want it more (even if we didn't want it before)? now my nighttime sleep routine is multiple felonies.

PS patiently waiting for guidance on the updated comment period for 7 & thank you to all the advocates for your work over these last weeks of chaos and uncertainty

extending effects

hi! i'm wondering people's experiences trying to extend their doses. i have some other alks but am not sure the best way to combine them w/ 7. my current dose of 15-20 mg lasts 1-2 hours, and i'm trying to do whatever i can to not have to take more than twice daily. i take for chronic pain, which tends to get worse later in the day unfortunately. Thank you for any insights anyone can share!

how did you first find 7?

just curious how folks originally came to know about this medicine. i'm chronically ill & first heard of kratom in a subreddit dedicated to one of the most painful diseases i have the honor of experiencing. when k worked so well, i joined kratom subs, which is how i came across 7 - just in time for k to stop working for me, unless i downed 20+ capsules at a time, which makes me sick in different ways. i moved to 7 and never went back.

do most people have similar stories of finding this through support spaces for chronic illness? or were people just at the gas station and saw tabs for sale? would love to know your stories!

diaphoresis

first things first: i'm a 7 advocate, this is not meant to fear monger. yesterday was my first experience like this and i am reeling with confusion.

i take approx 15-20 mg 1-2× / day & have recently added 2-5mg emge. my first dose yesterday was not until 1pm. by 135pm, i began an extreme episode of diaphoresis. my entire body was suddenly drenched in sweat. i was supposed to go to an appointment at 2pm but was unable to function, incredibly weak and dripping from head to toe.

i sat in the waiting room for 30 min pouring sweat from every pore in my body, soaking my clothes, making a puddle on the floor as i sat with my head between my knees trying to breathe and let it pass. i legitimately looked as though i jumped in a pool or showered with my clothes on. i was nauseous, vomited only liquid just 1x, and the entire episode lasted about an hour. each time i would dry all the sweat using the t-shirt i had to take off while sitting in this room of strangers, my whole body would drip sweat again, actual buckets worth of volume. (i am 5'3" / 130#)

i've heard of sweat episodes with withdrawals, but i wasn't in WD and felt fine all day (other than my usual chronic pain) until the diaphoresis came from nowhere. i am also in peri, but this seems so extreme to just be that and the timing of my dose and the episode has me convinced they're related

w/ the understanding everyone is different and many, many people won't experience anything like this, is there anyone who has had a similar occurrence? any insight is appreciated. it was scary, disruptive, and exhausting.

lastly / PS: i don't use ss tabs, my dose was from reputable online vendors who i won't name, are well-regarded, and who publish labs. i don't think there was anything undisclosed in the tabs. i possibly misdosed by taking multiple half and quarter pieces and trying to estimate the math, but the most i feel like i could have accidentally have taken is like 30 or worst case 35 mg. i definetly won't mix broken tabs anymore after this experience. Thanks for reading, for anyone who did

kures "refund" for wrong product is actually just store credit

as many may know and have experienced, kures has repeatedly sold out-of-stock product and then offloaded unwanted inventory onto customers instead. if we don't like that, we the customer are burdened with sending back the items we never ordered in the first place, before any refund will be processed.

great. (/s) so i took my disabled self down to the library in the heat of summer to print the return label then trekked to the post office to mail it. i follow up w/ kures a week later to check the status of my refund at which point they have the audacity to tell me my order will be refunded in points, and that those points will be applied as store credit to my account.

MOTHER OF GOD i didnt even agree to buy these products to begin with!!! why would i want a store credit for something i never wanted or purchased? moreover, it's very bold of kures to think i'd ever shop with them again after this experience

stay away from this fraudulent vendor!!!

simply7 DOES post labs though

hi everyone, i've been researching ever since seeing the claim that TMK's new 60mg tabs are also available on simply; reportedly they use the same manufacturer / distributor. i see a LOT of hate for simply in recent posts, but mostly because of no posted labs and claims of underdosing. the thing is - both the tabs i'm considering RN (60 mg cookies & the 50/50 MIT choco mint) have posted labs on the product page. is it really not a good idea to buy from this vendor? anyone had recent experiences?

a full-time job

anyone else spending literally all their free time this past month on 7-related tasks? between researching, ordering, following up, monitoring, tracking, checking and rechecking sales, communicating with vendors, staying in touch with community here, plus of course submitting comments, signing petitions, advocating to friends and family, calling state reps, rechecking the dockett for updates, i've easily been spending 40+ hours each of the last two weeks trying to get stocked up... on information, of course

i own a business and my clients are like, "wow you seem really busy and a bit more stressed than usual these past couple weeks! what's going on?" because of my profession (health & wellness) i haven't been able to admit to my customers that all my spare energy and time is devoted to 7. (i know this is a missed advocacy opportunity but i cant risk being ill-perceived in my brand new small business right now.)

let it be known i do NOT want 7 banned EVER, and yet i also will not miss having a full time second job refreshing news and deals every few minutes. shout out to everyone who has been helping keep each other updated through such chaotic times!

perma banned

i wonder what i did! maybe speaking too honestly about my experience w/ a certain vendor that has been selling out of stock product and swapping it with unwanted inventory they're looking to offload? or did i share too many deals? shout out the wrong responsible and reputable vendors? i asked what my offense was but got no reply.

anyone else had this honor of being permanently prohibited from participating in any of our subs?

THIS is what a responsible vendor does

https://preview.redd.it/tb6b8d1ii2hh1.jpg?width=613&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f2bf95344c0b8a36f71322f229a441dbd6c9fbd

this is in the checkout section. it's a checkbox that allows the customer to authorize (or decline) the vendor to swap out products that end up out of stock by the time the order is fulfilled. Kures, on the other hand, has no such warning or option. instead they just continuously sell out of stock items and then replace the non-existent products w/ inventory they want to offload. then they burden the customer with having to mail back all the products we didn't order, before giving any refund or discount. the substitute they gave me wasn't even a brand i had in my larger order; they just randomly chose products to give me with the money i paid them for different products.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk and shout out to the vendors who are transparent & not taking people's money for items they don't actually have

TMK bio tabs

eluxir still dropping new product, just days away from the potential doomsday. these Bio Tabs are supposed to take care of tapering for you, without having to take separate products. it's 7 & reset in one tab, which i hadn't seen before. i already got es are so won't be grabbing these (though they apparently do not actually have es are) but i was interested / curious if anyone has opinions

PLK not shipping to LA

i got an error message from PLK that they can't ship to my location, which is Los Angeles. i've never gotten this error from any other vendor, and LA is not listed on the shipping restrictions page for PLK. i emailed the company but haven't heard back. anyone else have any restriction issues w/ this or any other vendor, even when there's no local legislation where you live?

shout out to the vendors

folks are working their asses off right now and it shows. i've gotten BOGOs, discount codes, fast email responses, gifts for advocacy, free shipping, fast shipping, and just overall incredible service and product from a whole bunch of vendors over these past few weeks. huge shout out to the vendors who would never even think of exit scamming, who are encouraging customers to submit comments and sign petitions, and who are still delivering top-quality product in the most chaotic of times. i dont think i'm allowed to mention specific folks here, but suffice to say i've purchased from over a dozen vendors in the last month, and i'm just so grateful for all the hard work folks are putting in for us. THANK YOU to all the solid and upstanding vendors! y'all have given me my life back
