Hey everybody, I know I’m going to annoy a lot of you by asking this question. But I don’t know too much about the stuff anymore and I have a very very old mother that is addicted to this stuff that helps her with her pain issues. She was able to be mobile and it’s amazing. So I’m seeing/hearing that it’s going to be completely illegal. Come to the end of the month. Is that just on the table or is that confirmed to be happening? I’m just trying to figure out how to help her. Thank you !
Well as fate may have it now its not IF you want to taper off 7oh or quit but WHEN. I highly suggest you start now instead of panicking once the rescheduling of 7oh goes into effect. Here's a chart showing you just what kind of drug it is according to federal law. Pretty crazy they want to say its dangerous when alone it has virtually killed no one. How many times has there been an autopsy where 7oh is the only drug in the victims body? I bet you no one. What it has done is put people into rehabilitation centers with a horror story of withdrawal but other than that I honestly think 7oh hasn't not outright killed anyone but again the dependency it has created. I Know in my life the world revolved around my next hit, unfortunately because I am an addict. Not ashamed and not proud but rigorously honest. Anyways if you are serious about quitting give megadosing a try it helped me more than any other supplement in the worsld. Also all the people that talked down to me about meadoing, who's laughing now? 😈
Just seems like a psyop to get people to use a medically approved alternative to 7oh instead of abstinence. Absolutely none of this is for public health, imo. This month is going to be very uncomfortable but what's new?
Their expert panel of scientists and doctors determined that 7oh didn't need to be scheduled or banned. It seems like a lot of experts agreed that it has medical uses. Perhaps they forgot about this or they're trying to cover it up? Either way, it's worth the read if you have the time. Super interesting stuff.
Ive heard some things that 7 might not necessarily be banned, but be limited by a certain % because kratom naturally contains it. Im not sure how its determined what counts as a substance for total %, but what if they were to sell some type of thing with inert filler, like some type of supplement that comes in like, hard crystals. If its cheap, they could sell that with say, 5% 7oh content, and then you just pull out the filler. Or even like 7oh marbles, where you get a container with like 10 marbles and a gram of 7, so by weight your getting the legal limit of 7?
These are kinda stupid examples, but the point is how do they determine what counts are part of it? Its like how you could get THC edibles legally because a chocolate bar contains less than 0.3% thc. It was originally meant that the plant has to be under that percentage as "hemp" but it still legally counted with edibles and worked since you need a relatively low dose for effects.
If it has to be all edible, then just large dense tablets or capsules/powder with inert edible filler.
They had a doctor on TV saying 7oh has same overdose ability as heroin and fentanyl. It's literally not true. It doesn't affect CN receptors that cause overdoses.
Has anyone looked into corynoxin B or pseudo-akuamnogine as the next generation? I know RAW said they’re working on finding a replacement and so far I could see it going one of these two directions. Any thoughts or comments?
Ive been using 300mg to 400mg of 7oh a day and about 30mg to 45mg of mgee m in with it, ive completely cut out the mgee m today only taking the 7oh for about a week then im not sure if im going to get on subs or switch back to mit then kratom powder, i want to go the kratom route because i know if i get thru a few months ill feel the kratom again, but i just dont wanna suffer wd to bad making the switch from 7oh to mit ya know?
I don't really like to mix alcohol and 7, if I do it will be like a quarter of my normal dose before bed so I don't wd. My observation though is that if I drink the night before, not a couple beers but actual liquor, I will barely feel any of my doses the next day, at all. Am I the only one? Has anyone else had this problem
everywhere: these subreddits, the discords i’m in, comment sections, and everything in between has been absolutely filled with people moping and spewing dreadful takes on the current ban situation.
from what i’ve seen, im guessing maybe a little bit less or a little bit more than half of everyone is convinced that the ban is 100% solidified in place and is for certain. and because of that, they do nothing but go from place to place bringing people down, shutting down hope, and trying to convince those who are questioning things that this is the end and there is nothing we can do about it at all. a big chunk of you guys genuinely believe that any effort towards stopping this ban/scheduling is truly meaningless and serves no purpose, having that mindset that none of this truly matters and we are really heading towards the inevitable is EXACTLY what’s going to make us fail.
i saw someone from a vendor discord server i’m in say that the DEA has made up their mind and lobbyists have paid off the executive decision to enforce this ban, and that is entirely why they have decided to give up. this is simply untrue.
i won’t deny lobbyists have certainly turned the tide and have the upper hand at the moment, but we literally have a good chance right now to take back control. that’s why the DEA has given us that 30 day commenting period. if they truly wanted to outright destroy 7OH they have the means and capabilities to do so, as we’ve seen with SR17 and other substances. that’s why we need to take advantage of that commenting period, the rest of this month, and the opportunity we have sitting right in front of us. we need to try our absolute hardest to push back against these pricks, and you need to keep your head in the game thinking about what matters to you and your fellow 7oh user in this situation.
i myself personally haven’t ever acted on anything until now. i’ve always (and admittedly still do) maintained a mindset that nothing matters until it directly affects me, i’ve not once did anything to help this cause, the state bans, the spread of misinformation, or anything else within the last year as everything was happening around me and not directly in front of me. that is until now, as we genuinely all do face this threat of losing our substance that we hold dear. i am committing myself to actually get off my ass for once and act to protect what matters to me, and you should too.
we will get nowhere if you sit by and do nothing. we will lose everything if you sit by and do nothing. and we will absolutely be destroyed if you let hopelessness, ignorance, and stupidity consume your opinion on the matter. we are NOT out of the game yet, and we 100% still have a fighting chance at winning.
i urge you to consider the reality of this situation, and to let go of those thoughts, feelings, and opinions that dictate your decision to step back and watch everything fall apart. it is NOT over, and it is NOT set in stone that we’ve been put down. do not let ANYONE convince you that we’ve already lost and it’s just a matter of time until it’s in writing that it’s officially a scheduled 1 narcotic that will carry hefty prison time for possession.
the ONLY way we will lose next month is if we don’t get enough people to support us, and to stand up to allow their own voices to be heard.
do not let these last few years of 7oh becoming mainstream be in vain, it’s saved so many lives and has changed us for the better. the moment we lose is the moment overdose deaths surge, the moment we end up in withdrawal with no means of relief, and the moment we become everything that those awful people WANT us to be. since a ban and scheduling will change the way the general uninformed public sees us and 7OH itself.
Can’t we just out lobby the AKA? I hear trump is selling pardons for two million dollars. If we come together as a community financially can’t we just pay him to veto the ban?
Every where I look that's not a 7oh forum, people are celebrating this ban. And the comments are full of people comparing this to heroin. The ignorance kills me.
Well shit..KH been my main lately and was in the middle of my KH order and the damn sale ended on me 🤦♂️ I thought it last til at least the end of the 4th..anyway, who should I try?
So, I'm struggling with tapering my 7oh dose. Id like to be at a much lower dose when I use SR to jump off 7oh. Right now, I take between 200 and 250mg of 7oh a day. I'm wondering if it would be unwise to do a short 3 to 5 day SR run where I'll drop my habit in half. Basically take SR very briefly to rapidly taper and stabilize my 7oh dose around 100 to 120mg per day and then stay at that 7oh dose for a couple weeks to a month, then use SR again for another 5 to 10 days in order to jump off from about 100mg per day.
Is there any reason not to try and use SR in this manner? My logic is that I'll use the SR to cut down my dose so my stash lasts a bit longer giving me time to mentally accept that this ride has ended, and I'll have enough time to get SR out of my system before I use it a second time.
Ideally I'd just do the short run to cut my daily dose once, but would there be an issue with me maybe doing a short run twice and jump from 100mgpd down to like 50mgpd and then jump off 7 with SR from there?
I hope my question makes sense. I want to do one or two short SR runs to drop my dose down and stabilize, then use SR again and eventually do a 10 or less day run and jump off. My curiosity is whether using it that way could have any downsides I'm not considering. Is there anyone who's done something like what I've described?
Or would I be better off just jumping off from about 200mg per day using SR for 10 days or less?
I tried a practice run with SR around October last year and it took me 5 weeks to actually jump off 7oh. I wasnt aware SR could cause dependency when I did that run and I never tested out if I'd have had SR withdrawal because after a week of no 7oh and maybe one day, possibly two, I can't remember, but i didnt use SR a day or two then I went right back on 7oh so I'm guessing any SR withdrawal I'd have had was covered up by the 7oh use.
This time around I'm going to make myself use SR for as short a time as possible. In my mind doing little cuts with short runs of SR at a time kinda makes sense to me but I'm wondering if theres something I dont know about sr that might make doing that counter productive. I'm trying to quit without having to call off from work. I think I may request some days off in early August so if I need to just suffer for a few days I can, but yeah idk. This is daunting. I'm not really ready to stop but I know that I don't have much choice anymore and ultimately stopping will be for the best. Any information I can get from the community on my plan would be greatly appreciated.
Hey everyone,
If you’ve been putting this off, please don’t wait any longer. This is a critical window to speak up for 7oh. This link walks you step by step through submitting a comment to the FDA about how 7oh helps you personally. It only takes a few minutes, but those minutes really matter right now.
We need as many real voices as possible on record. If people don’t share their experiences, decisions can be made without hearing from the ones actually affected. This is our chance to push for science based policy and reasonable consumer safety regulations instead of prohibition.
No need to panic, but this is the time to act. Being proactive right now can make a real difference in what happens in the future.
The deadline for submitting comments is 4/27/2026 at 11:59 PM EDT, and it’s coming up fast. Please get your comment in as soon as you can.
If you’re having any trouble submitting a comment, please reach out to me on this post or send me a message and I’ll walk you through it. If you did submit a comment to the FDA, please drop a comment here letting us know.
Also please share this everywhere you can to help other 7oh consumers see it and leave their own comments on the FDA page. The more participation we get, the stronger our collective voice is.
Thank you for continuing to stand up and protect access to 7oh 💪
