This is when a "dominant" online sees a post of you claiming your submissive, or claiming you want a dominant partner or play partner and immediately comes into your dms with degrading or sexually forward comments usually asking you to do things that are sexual like nudity, tasks or calls, do not do this for someone and ignore the dm if being a free use online submissive or doing free random tasks for people is a kink of yours , if it is no shame! Your perf how you are
This is a red flag in dominants as this person is usually not seeking a long term or safe and mutually beneficial dynamic with you, this is a sign of someone who is rushing things to sexually benefit themselves and I would suggest ignoring/blocking unless your looking for something short term and without ties (again, no shame if you are! I get it ladies)
And doms, don't reach out to normal subs like this unless they state they want something with no strings attached or extremely short term \^\_\^
Now, this is mainly for people on subs that are meant for same sex relationships as this is where this happens most, but may happen in normal d/s subs as well! Red flags to look out for that may be someone catfishing is someone sending inappropriate pictures to you usually with the excuse attached "to prove myself" or "proof I'm a boy/girl" anything like that! These images usually look cropped, low quality or extremely high quality like a porno which is not a red flag by itself but paired with these things is absolutely a worry.
# Now onto the next area! Tips for dommes/doms
This is a little area for dommes/doms this is coming from a sub so these are some personal preferences but will definitely help you out at least a bit :)
Ex: "hey lovely! Saw your post would you like to talk more? I'm very interested!" And after saying your age and gender as well as location without being specific!
Ex: "I'm m35 soft dominant, based in the us!"
This will help you stick out from those looking to exploit and abuse power as a dominant and make your intentions and interest known
If you take forever to reply after your intro, it's most likely a submissive will assume your busy with others, not interested or just don't reply quickly at all :( which can make someone feel nor prioritized so if you reach out to a submissive and start a conversation about things please don't leave in the middle of it
Keeping and holding a conversation makes you very valuable
Usually people on here I've noticed will send pictures immediately or with their posts and that's fine, if a submissive hasn't sent you a photo after you've sent one you can always encourage them but forcing them will not get you anywhere. The best way to ask or get someone to send a picture is to send one and encourage, bring it up a few times casually and if they do not send it eventually and your looking for something more then text based roleplay, please do not continue engaging nobody is forcing you :)
