Dipping toes- second date ( Update)
Hello all, I wanted to update on the date night on Saturday. First of all, thank you all for your amazing support to help us walk through an unnerving/uncharted territory. Your personal messages, perspectives and words of caution helped us shape how we think about this in future.
Regarding the second date on Saturday, we were all pumped up to meet this dude on Saturday. Our sex was more intimate on Friday. Little bit about my wife: she is all about romance, getting into the mood and slowly warming up to the idea of Saturday date. She started sexting him and we were having a friendly banter. It turned out that the dude was not interested in cozy dining or movie experience. More so, she teasingly asked him, what if we go only on dates and see where it goes. She was expecting some kind of flirtatious response like “ Hard to keep my hands off you ….”. The response from the dude unsettled her. He was just looking for time in bed, not outside any more. He is not into making her feel comfortable outside and let the night ease in. This struck like a lightning rod into how we wanted our first experience. So she casually asked how many dates he is willing to go on with her without ending up on bed. There came a single number answer: “0”.
This begged the question that many of you good friends asked us to think deep- “Why are we doing this?” Our expectations were way different from how she felt. It was a good eye opening experience and we will get back to this amazing group when we make our next move. Thank you all once again for this amazing support!
