hi! i've been looking into groups near me, and there seem to be two major pup clubs in the area: windy city pups and handlers, and chicago pet patrol.

cpp seems to be the more established one, and i am subscribed to their updates, but their membership applications seem to have never re-opened after last year in february. winpah has open registration, but seems to be considerably less active from what i can tell.

i'm incredibly nervous to show up to a cpp event without membership, but i'm also not keen on paying membership dues to winpah if i feel their events are too infrequent (and also scheduled during my working hours), so i'm a little stumped on what to do.
