It’s summer. Hot. Steamy. Bikinis and martinis by the pool. All my girlfriends are in their Hot Girl Summer eras and spending their time bar-hopping and entertaining their next summer fling.
But me? Not me.
I want fall. I want pumpkin spice and cuffing season and sliding my hands into the ends of the arms of your sweater to lace my fingertips through yours.
I want something wholesome.
I miss being in the love bubble, baby. Goofy with the butterflies. Grinning at my phone, giggling and kicking my feet ‘cause some cute guy lit up the screen with a little message just for me.
Are you perhaps the cute guy? And if so, what do you say you and me cuddle up by the fire with some cocoa, a little moody music for the vibe (I’ve got the perfect playlist for this), and while away the evenings whispering sweet nothings (and the occasional witty retort) into each other’s ears?
