Lately I’ve really been loving buying my wife certain items of clothing as a surprise as a gift, subconsciously knowing full well how good they’ll look on her and attract male attention.

Example- found this tight pair of Nike Pro bike shorts I bought for her as a gift. They’re skin tight, barely covering her cheeks. She says she’ll wear them for me (and I do enjoy seeing her in them) but I also bought for them for other guys to enjoy.

I often find myself growing for stuff to buy her that I know will attract lots of male attention. Anyone else do this?

I posted over in the hotwife sub recently about my 40F wife starting as a fitness leader/instructor at our local rec centre. She’s had an amazing glow-up after kids, rocking tight gear (Lululemon shorts especially), and the male attention has ramped up fast. I’ve even joked before sex about hurrying up before her husband gets home and she eats this up.

Psychologically though, I’m trying to unpack why this turns me on so much. There’s this mix of pride in her confidence, genuine arousal at the idea of other men wanting her, and this naive/excited feeling like I’m discovering a new side of myself (and her). I get a little thrill from feeling “behind” it all – like I’m the supportive husband hearing about these bold gym guys while we’re still just at the flirting/story stage. No physical stuff has happened yet, but the mental side is intense.
I worry sometimes that I’m being too eager or asking too many questions, which might come across as pushy instead of chill. Has anyone else felt that naive excitement early on? How did you navigate the psychology of it – the jealousy vs arousal balance, keeping communication open without killing the vibe, or figuring out your own turn-ons in real time?

Just wanted to post a quick update since my last one got some great responses (thanks for the tips on communication).

Wife had another shift the other day and told me the “prison guy” (ex-con looking dude who’s pretty built) was back. She said he kept looking at her the whole time and walked by her really closely multiple times. Like, she could feel him brushing past. She mentioned it casually while we were talking about her day, but I could tell it stuck with her. I played it cool and asked for more details and she just kind of laughed it off like “he’s intense.”

On top of that, she brought up this jacked instructor who’s “covered in tattoos.” She described him pretty vividly and said he was helping with something in her class or whatever. I’m sitting there listening like a dummy, half turned on and half thinking “wow the gym really is full of characters lately.”

We’re still very much in the early stages – nothing physical has happened, just the stories and some hot roleplay afterwards. I’m trying to stay supportive and not come across as pushy, but man these updates from her are doing crazy things for me. I feel a bit naive sometimes because I get so excited hearing about it that I probably ask way too many questions lol.
