Recently began caning, using various dowel sizes. My partner loves it and loves the marks. But struggles to handle the pain after a few good hits.

Any tips to work through it?

Lidocaine cream? If so can I cover their whole butt?

Should I start softer and work up?

Is there a better cane option that dowels from the hardware store?

Recently my sub asked if he could use lidocaine gel before his sessions. He likes to be caned, and said this would numb him a bit so I could hit with more force.

28yo m I have been attempting to straight catch with a 14f, I get to what feels like a wall but I’m 3-4 inches from the end of the cath. I assume this is the bladder, it’s the only real discomfort I have had while attempting this is my 3rd try over 2 days.
Any suggestions?
