After a couple of months of searching, an unexpected connection turned into a sugar vacation I’ll never forget. It actually began with a late night, last ditch text on Seeking, purely because she quoted one of my favorite authors. What started as light banter quickly evolved into an incredible discourse, and by the morning, we knew we had to meet.

I recently started a new arrangement in New Delhi that began with a lot of promise. Our first three introductory dates went beautifully, leading us to agree on a PPM structure that accommodates my travel schedule of two to three visits a month, ultimately amounting to a very generous monthly allowance.

However, a recent incident has caused me to pause. While I was in town for a conference, she warmly insisted on hosting me at her place. When I arrived, she was already heavily intoxicated. While I don't judge, it’s a lifestyle choice I personally avoid. We spoke briefly before she passed out. This highlighted a broader issue; our intimacy has consistently felt distant and cold. I chose to leave a partial PPM out of courtesy, sent her a message, and left.

What confuses me is the contradiction. She frequently mentions how frustrating it is that partners rarely want to take things slow. Yet, despite my patience, time, and significant financial commitment, the genuine chemistry simply isn't there. I am struggling to find the spark despite doing exactly what she claimed to want.

I would love to get some advice from fellow SDs on how you have handled similar situations, as well as some perspective from SBs on the best way to maneuver through this dynamic.
