To anyone who has an ABN for stripping or other sex work - what did you list for the main business activity section? I’m thinking performing artist but wanna make sure I’m not missing a more suitable option. My accountant will list me under ‘Entertainment’ for their purposes.

If anyone is interested I can also try to keep this post updated with the process/outcome of navigating tax stuff.

Even just walking. I feel so awkward and can barely talk to customers because I’m so focused on not falling over. I’ve got 7in ankle boots, they’re laced tight enough that my foot doesn’t move in the boot but not so tight that they’re uncomfortable.

I’ve been wearing them around my house to try to get confident but I keep almost falling and if I’m not wobbling I look like I’m stomping. My club’s floors are uneven and have a lot of carpet areas that make me feel more unsteady as the heel sinks into it.

It’s been a couple months and I’m not making progress. What can I do? Should I just switch to 5in heels and work my way back up to the 7in? Focus on ankle strength more? I already work on that a bit because I’m learning to skate as well.

Every other part of this job is going well for me. This is the one thing holding me back and making me feel like I’m not good enough.

I tried to start a conversation with every guy I could. None of them were there for dances. Or thought a dance was too expensive. If you don’t have the money, gtfo, stop wasting my time.

And to make shit worse, I had three Ubers cancel on me cos the traffic in the city is so bad. Currently on the bus trying to get out of the cbd to try again with uber.

Anyone use Insta to promote yourself outside the club? I’m thinking of making some business cards with social links so customers can easily find out where/when I’m working and contact me to make bookings.

Apparently meta is cracking down on anything related to SW, but I also see so many lingerie ads and pole dance vids wearing barely more than I’d wear to work.

If not Insta, what are y’all using?
