Update?

Hia,

I posted here a few weeks ago stating I was starting my bedwetting journey and going 24/7.

It was going well and I was waking up one or two times a night, releasing and going back to bed. Only leaked once but I have a mattress cover so I just went back to sleep.

Now I've noticed that when I wake up I can't just release while being sleepy I have to wake up a bit or be distracted to go. I have no clue why. Does anyone know how to fix that or has experienced this?

Its kinda making me a bit discouraged 😕

Seem to be going backwards.

Hi

I have posted here a little while ago. I have been 247 for around 2 and half months now. My day continence is pretty much none exisistent now.

When I started out my bed wetting was some what hard. I would have to push to get things going. I for some reason cannot just relax and let it flow. When I try do that my body feels like it wants to panic. So I end up pushing to get it going.

Now lately, I am sleep through the night and when waking up my nappy is dry and I feel the pressure. Its not comfortable at all.

Before I started this journey I would wake up at least once a night and have to go to the loo.

I have no idea whats happening and why I have gone backwards.

I have tried the water before bed. I have tried telling myself that I am sage in my nappy and can just relax. I have gone to sleep in a bit of a wet nappy. You name it I have tried it.

It finally happened!

For the past five years I have been training on and off. In the beginning I couldn't even wet laying down no matter how bad I had to go. I worked on wetting in every position for a while. In the past year I was waking up to wet in place and made more progress in that respect. Then this week it happened twice.

I went to bed wearing a dry diaper. Then woke up damp with no memory of doing it. A few days later it happened again. I am so happy I did it but man that took a while.

I think part of the reason it finally clicked was I changed some things recently in my sleeping routine.

I added an under pad to sleep on so if I leak there's less anxiety about ruining a mattress even with waterproof covers.

I also started wearing only better drys at night. They seem to fit me the best and keep the "male plumbing" in place the best while rolling around at night.

The added confidence from these factors finally got me over the mental hump. We will see how it goes as I continue with training. Hopefully more soggy mornings.

Mattress protector in hot climate

First of all, I am really happy to have found this reddit community. I am pretty intrigued by the idea of waking up wet, have worn every now and then at night, but never fully committed.

Just moved to a state with a pretty hot climate, and prefer not to rely on AC too much. Before buying a mattress protector, I was wondering what this means for feeling sweaty / cooling performance of my mattress. I found Options at ikea for around 50 usd for a queen size.

What are your thoughts on this?

Training hiccup progress

So I’ve been wetting every night for months now.

UNTIL…

Last week I had a dry night. Then a few days later I woke up instead of peeing. And then another dry morning.

Unacceptable.

I had been peeing before diapering up and then drinking fluids, which helped to keep my urine less smelly. I’ve also been doing a lot of exercise.

I think the culprit is my exercise routine making me lose so much water weight. I’m down 26 lbs! Everything fits better (especially diapers), and I’m loving the dopamine from the exercise.

So between peeing before bed and being dehydrated from exercise last night I doubled what I normally drink.

I didn’t want to go to bed with my bladder so full it was distracting… but surprisingly after 900 ml it was not! So I finished my two big baby bottles (450 each), and drifted off.

This morning: soaked!!

😅

I’d gotten so used to peeing at night it really threw me for a loop when I wasn’t able to.

I truly think I could train myself back to full control in a week. Another lesson learned: my body, though susceptible to diaper training, was ready to snap back into dry nights as soon as I decreased my fluid intake.

I’ll be testing this more and keeping my fluid intake high.

Am I a bad friend ?

So me and my bestfriend tell each other everything, we are comfortable talking about everything and anything. Except ive been keeping something from her and I hate it but I know if I told her she wouldn't want to know me :(

I officially can't stay dry outside my house anymore 🫠

Basically the title, I've woken up twice now to a wet diaper while visiting other people's houses. Diapers are now my pj's, no matter what. I'm a bedwetter 🥰

Hypnosis

Wondering if anyone has tried any of the hypnosis audio files for bed wetting?

I know nothing of the sort is any kind of magic, but just wondering if anyone has felt that they helped at all.

I wet my girlfriends bed last night

I was wearing a diaper, but I definitely soaked it and it overflowed while we were sleeping. I feel bad I’m such a loser I can’t even hold it till the morning

Ebbs and flows of training

After months of continuous wetting I seem to have backslid? The other night I woke up to pee instead of just peeing, and today I work up dry! Two outliers in 4 months isn’t bad… nevertheless…

I may have to go back to more rigorous training.

Things I changed that may have effected my training:

I started peeing before my nighttime diaper. THEN drinking more water. This was mostly to flush out my system and have cleaner urine.

I stopped drinking a lot of water. I was still drinking close to 600 ml but i seem to be holding it?

I’ve been exercising a lot. I wonder if I’m dehydrated.

Will be adjusting.

Absolute best diaper to sleep in?

Is there any sort of consensus on this?

For me personally, I’ve tried a handful of different brands, Kiddos, LFB, NorthShore MegaMax, Sunkiss, and I think the best one is Rearz Daydreamers. I’ve never had a leak with them. I usually wind up changing before they ever reach capacity. But there’s still a lot of diapers I haven’t tried before so who knows.

I really want to try LNGU Dragoonz next because I’ve heard good things about them and they’re super cute, plus I like trying new things. But I more so need a diaper that is a good overnight diaper. Something that can withstand occasional side sleeping, and handle 2-3 wettings a night.
