My boyfriend of 2 years is in a kickball and volleyball team. On Sunday mornings he always disappears and goes to those called mixers after or before the games I don’t even know anymore, at first I thought it was a healthy hangout but I discovered some text messages in his phone that sound like he is going there to do more than play sports; at this point I am super insecure about our relationship cause we are monogamous, we are from different backgrounds, he is white and I am Venezuelan. At times I think that I am over reacting cause it sounds like I don’t want him to have fun but I feel like he is going there to flirt with boys or have random sex.
Any of you play on these leagues? I really like him and want things to work but I have my doubts now, how would you handle a situation like this, I thought that I would be over this kind of lifestyle by now (we are both 37) but I don’t wanna sound restrictive, like telling him not to hang out with other gay guys or go to these gathering cause it makes me feel insecure And I really don’t like it.
I think I want a more mature relationship now and I don’t know how to tell him I am not ok with this, am I being too much? I don’t go out with my friends to drink anymore cause I want to spend more time as a couple. What do you guys think?
Saw our first live show at Hollywood Beach (Kathy Osterman Beach)! We just felt like going there, and since it was raining, there were only a few people around. As we were walking, we noticed a tent that was surprisingly open. The guys inside saw us and, for some reason, told us we were free to watch.
My partner and I stayed for a bit and honestly enjoyed the experience. It was something new for us, and we respect that everyone has their own kinks. We had a good time, but eventually headed out because it was getting really dark.
Going to Camp Boomerang with a group of friends very soon and wondering if anyone else has been. What do you like about it, what can be improved and if you have any advice that would be awesome. Stay beautiful people 🥰.

I think I contracted an STI. However I have a doctors appointment to get tested today. My question is it seems I was asymptomatic and slightly developed a putrid body odor that others can smell but I can’t. Has anyone ever experienced this?? Please be kind. I did everything we typically do as gay man prep and doxy and still was infected.
I recently bought a condo and I’m making upgrades here and there. I think it’d be fun to have a gay handyman taking care of things. Definitely looking for skilled/legit handyman/contractor because there is real work to be done. And hopefully some fun can be had in the process.

Yesterday I went to the pride parade and it was an absolute blast!! I loved being able to cheer and dance around with everyone, or everyone was so nice. Next year though I will have to use sunscreen because I underestimated how much sun there would be. Also yes my friend did try to get other guys to flirt with me by writing for it on my forehead.
I wouldn't say that gay bar scene is dead in NYC but definitely most gays go to monthly gay techno parties (i.e Wrecked) these days imo. Just shirtlessness and untz untz untz and music without lyrics.
Is it the same in Chicago? I am thinking of visiting sometime this summer.
I would definitely like to go to a gay techno party (would appreciate any recs!) in Chicago, but if Chicago still prefers gay bars, I ultimately want to go where the people are at.

Ive already worked in the gay bar scene in Andersonville, currently work an overnight pharma job (which im trying to get out of ASAP) and could go back to the bars but think it would better to be in the hospital and want weekends.
I have a bachelors in STEM, veteran, and years of hospitality/customer service experince, and biotech experience......but i keep getting rejections from entry level hospital roles.
If you yourself or know anyone who works those roles id love to ask for some advice or maybe references!! Please and thank you!

Visiting with friends (group of 9) and I’m the only gay one. Friends know how much I love boystown and while I didn’t suggest it some of the girls threw the idea out and everyone agreed. The thing is everyone is painfully straight and they’re much more of hang out bar people not so clubby.
Honestly just looking for bar/chill club suggestions to not be too bothersome to other gays. Almost feels wrong bringing them out there 😭 idk maybe I’m overthinking it?

For reference I’m 19 and looking for stuff to do after the parade on Sunday, my boyfriend is older and really wants to go to his one friends for a watch party and then stay there the whole time. I feel uncomfortable with that idea. Anything near Halsted that is 18+ friendly? Should I just suck it up and go? I’d prefer not to but if it’s our last choice I will.
