T&C in Google playbook are kinda confusing, they said they didn't allow pornographic but i definitely saw many erotica there, some of them are even dubious consent. T&C in KDP also bit confusing. Any thoughts?

I already know what pen name I'd use and how my covers would look. But my writing tendency is massive epics with many characters and various kinds of erotic couplings with a slow, but always interesting and fun progression happening. And I do like to get into the descriptive little details.
I have a series on Literotica that has accumulated a few hundred thousand reads between almost 15 chapters and the comments and everything are overwhelmingly positive. All ratings of 4.5 or higher with some going as high as 4.85. Now... I know success on Literotica doesn't at all mean I can easily turn this into cash money, but surely it's worth a shot for me right? I fucking love writing erotica. Like so fucking much. And I seem to have an unlimited supply of it in my brain. But would people get into stories that are 150k words total spread out across 10-15 separate chapters?
I guess I'm just a little frustrated with the uncertainty of it. I don't know if there would be interest in my kind of thing in the current market. Any kind of guidance, tips, ideas, wisdom, or anything would be appreciated.
Hello, I'm pretty new at writing on KDP and KU. I've been on Inkitt for a few years and am just now making the switch. My stories are romantic erotica. Very plot and character heavy but featuring several graphic erotic scenes. I'm not sure if I should market them as romance or erotica. I've heard romance is better to promote, but the market is oversaturated, so visibility is limited. I've also heard erotica sells, but the dungeon can tank your visibility. Where have you guys found the most success?

New to this and I have a ~40k feedism romance nearing completion. There's no explicit sex scenes however, plenty of body worship/stuffing/weight gain aka the things that are erotic to those with this fetish.
Seems the general consensus (unless I'm wrong) is to mark it as non-explicit because of the lack of detailed bonking, but I'm really confused about what that means for the keywords and categories! Can I still put it down under the category of erotica (since the primary purpose is to titillate)? Can I still include terms such as "feedee bbw obsessive steamy romance" in the keywords? Would putting "A feedism romance" in the subtitle cause the story to be flagged?
I am a little cautious as I'm now pivoting into erotic fiction having already built a decent-sized if rather rubbish non-erotic catalogue (feel its best to try something new now), and I'd rather keep receiving the £5 a month from said back catalogue than risk losing it all...

I have a serialised erotica that I'm working on, but I haven't got to the point of publishing anywhere yet. I just don't know how to start drumming up an audience, or preferably a community with input. Is it just "publish and wait"? Or are there specific channels I should be shouting in (like discords or subreddits)? I have a feeling that making a post saying "hey, I published this and think you might enjoy it, follow me for more" is a bit on the nose and desperate.
I've been thinking about posting some celebrity fanfiction stories but literotica is yet to publish my first story. So please suggest some websites which have this genre.

I'm making this flair as "research" because that is essentially what it is.
I'm working on a idea where once a week I'll publish a short vignette (say 750 words or shorter) and then also once a week, a chapter/episode of an ongoing story. (The vignette would NOT be attached to the ongoing story.) I'm also thinking of treating the ongoing story like a podcast series. Chapters/episodes drop for X number of weeks; break for X amount of time, and then start back up with the next season.
The content will be 4.5 chili peppers to kink. (No taboo topics.)
Before I do anything, I'm thinking of where to publish. Right now I'm digging through Substack's Content Guidelines which says "We do allow depictions of nudity for artistic, journalistic, or related purposes, as well as erotic literature, however, we have a strict no nudity policy for profile images." But, Substack then refers to you to Stripes T&Cs and under Prohibited Businesses it says, "The restriction applies to any business that offers or sells pornography and other sexually explicit materials (including literature, imagery, and other media) designed for the purpose of sexual gratification;"
I cannot control if what I wrote someone uses for a spank bank. I know some find 3 chili peppers worth "sexual gratification" and others who find erotica to be ho hum. And also, what do they exactly mean by explicit? The phrase "I know it when I see it" comes to mind.
So the question is: For those who are serializing and getting paid for you work, where are you doing it?
Search through this sub brought up Smashwords and Ream (to an extent) from a post from a few years ago. Some were using Medium since they allowed erotica and were basically finger crossing they didn't get caught. I haven't dug into either of those or Patron yet.
I'm open to anything to publish but I want to make sure I don't get fecked over b/c the T&Cs were so vague.

For the cover should I just copy the top sellers of the niche? I've got depositphotos credits and have canva, I'm not a fan of the muscular handsome dudes on the covers but I must overcome this because it's what people who read auch Stories want to see, right? Not worth trying my own style? And long tail keywords how do I research these other than the obvious ones?
And I've noticed most people have series, does that mean the same characters should all pop up in the following shorts or is it just about my specific niche but I can change other stuff?

There's an ever increasing amount of dark romance erotica on Amazon that deals with topics like dubcon and noncon, Haunting Adeline in particular has the infamous gun scene.
From what I've read in this sub and elsewhere, these are kinks and fetishes that are strictly a no for Amazon and will inevitably get your book taken down.
Yet books like HA are hugely popular and successful on Amazon.
What's the reason for them not being policed in the same way?
The only difference I can really divine is down to perception - a 500-page books marketed as 'dark romance' means you can get away with it, whereas the equivalent scene in a 10k word erotica would be taken down?
Essentially I'm trying to pin down how I can write these kind of scenes and remain published on Amazon. Currently it seems like I just need to pad out a short to a full length novel heh.
