But imagine being in your flat, naked and in chains, your genitalia perfectly exposed and every security release fails.

• The pouch hanging from the ceiling gets stuck although all of the ice melt, dripping on your naked skin but the key does not release
• The timelock which is supposed to release you about 1 hour after planned ice-release fails
• The jar filled with olive oil and the key inside rolls away from you after you got to push it from the socket it's standing on, making a big mess and the key still not reachable
• and the trusted friend whom you told that you might call him for help does not answer your call (you can reach and use your smartphone)

So you are in your humiliating and uncomfortable position for much longer than planned. But you still have the chance to google and call somebody. A spare key is hidden outside, this would not be a problem.

Who would you call?

Friend, police, a taxi-driver, an ambulance?
I thought about it and am still not sure. And I hope it never will be neccessary to involve a stranger into my kink.

I do self bondage quite often, but I am usually very careful and as much as I want to, I tend not to take risks. I do self bondage maybe a couple times a week but it's usually only locking my ankles together or wearing a gag, or cuffing my wrists safely infront myself and I rarely do all of this at once and I rarely restrict access to my keys.

For when I do feel like getting that extra thrill and somehow limiting key access and making myself helpless, I have a timer safe, and a couple of ice locks. I usually place all of keys up on a high enough surface, so that i cannot reach them once my wrists are locked in place. A key to free my wrists is then placed in the timer safe, or I cuff my wrists with the ice-lock.

My safety release method is that I have one wrist cuffs key attached to a bottle of opened cooking oil which I place up on a shelf, attached to a piece of string which in an emergency i can pull down to access the key and release myself - but the big penalty for doing this is spilling cooking oil all over my carpet and splashing it all over the walls and furniture, which really works for me as a guaranteed safety release with a heavy penalty.

I recently bought a lockbox for my handcuffs. It's a very rigid and secure black box that locks around the handcuffs with a padlock, and covers the keyholes on the cuffs. It's an extra security layer, and it makes the cuffs feel very rigid and secure. This box is also attached to a chain belt which goes around my waist. It's very hot.

Once it arrived, i was testing it out and I got very excited and decided I wanted to have the thrill of being locked up for a while without being able to get out. So, I stuffed my mouth with a sock and locked a big strappy muzzle over my mouth and around my head. Then, after having tested that I would have the reach to unlock the padlock holding my cuffs to my waist, I locked the chain around my waist through the lockbox with a fat padlock keeping the handcuffs rigidly infront of me, and after putting my keys out of reach and inside the timer safe, I set a timer for 30mins and snapped the ratchets shut around my wrists.

It was very exciting and I felt amazing, with my wrists very firmly held at my waist, with the padlock rattling against the lockbox and I was making grunts of effort behind my thoroughly gagged face. I had the usual sinking feeling that 30 minutes was going to feel like a heck of a long time... but I actually really love that feeling. It's almost like a "regret" feeling i get once I'm locked in and I find it incredibly frustrating and very exciting.

So, anyway, after I'd walked around my house a bit, tugging and pulling and grunting with frustration, I decided to sit and wait for my timer to release me. I sat on the floor and struggled some more, and after 30 LONG minutes, my key safe opened and I retrieved the key to the padlock which was holding me in place.

Except, when I went to open the padlock, it seems the chain running through the lockbox had shifted slightly during my struggles, the padlock was now hanging in a position that I couldn't reach properly... I always get a slight flurry of panic when I am unlocking myself because I start to feel doubts and worry that I won't be able to ... so I try to keep my cool, and I go about trying to shift the padlock into a position where i can reach the lock, but it's very...very difficult. I am very securely restrained and I just can't seem to jiggle the right way to move the padlock into a reachable spot.

My partner arrives home in about 3 hours. So I know I am not in "danger" as such. She will find and rescue me. But I really REALLY dont want her to discover me like this....

Anyone reading this who is as obsessed with and aroused by bondage can relate to what happened next... suddenly my struggling and grunts of effort feel "real", and I'm struggling and mmphing involuntarily... and when I hear myself doing this I feel an equal mixture of "oh fuck" panic, and "oh *fuck!*" arousal. This is a terrible situation I've put myself in, and it's also extremely fucking hot and I am very turned on by it.

"It ain't real bondage until you wanna get out, but can't", right?

This feeling is amazing to me, but I want to be very clear... it is NOT worth putting myself in danger to experience, and I would never suggest anyone put themselves in danger to experience it either. It is an incredible feeling that I recieve a drug-like high from, but it should NEVER BE DONE ON PURPOSE, WHILE ALONE. You should be taking absolutely every step possible to avoid situations like this.

My instinct to use my safety release hightens this sensation even more when I realise the problem is not key access - it's lock position. My safety release will not help me. I also start to become very aware of the big sock I stuffed in my mouth. I instinctively try leaning forward and moving my hands up to my face to do something about it, and while I can only just touch the muzzle gag... it doesn't matter anyway, because I've locked it onto my face with padlocks that I cannot reach the keys for.

Eventually, with a giant erection and true panicked adrenaline running through my body, I managed to finally jerk my body in such a way that the padlock shifts and hangs in a position where I can reach it with the key to free myself.

With my handcuffs finally free of the lockbox and no longer rigidly locked to my waist I lay back on the floor and have the biggest most intense orgasm I've had in years.

It is still not worth putting yourself in danger for, and I absolutely regret fucking that up as badly as I did.

Please let this serve as a reminder that even IF you've been doing self bondage for years, and you're extremely careful, and you run lots of tests, and you have your safety in place, things can still go wrong and you can still seriously fuck up your life when playing with this stuff.

Ideally, none of us would be taking this risk at all - but we're gonna do it anyway and please please please, I urge all of you reading this to plan for everything and before you lock yourself up, you have to be prepared for it to go wrong.

Don't just plan for every eventuality up to your safety release. Think about what you're going to do if your safety release fails and be PREPARED for that failure.

To the people that have brought and used bondage webbing, what are your experiences with it as I was thinking on getting some

I'm currently on a 30-day vacation, and I decided to stay in town, enjoying my bondage studio. It's 11AM at Wednesday, and so, while the corporate world is running, with all email messages, Google Chat messages, meetings, briefings etc and all my colleagues are freaking out, trapped in their routine (usually at 11AM my team is engaged in a tense team meeting), I'm wearing only a mask and short, but with a improved setup.

The leather black mask is locked in my head by means of a padlock so I cannot remove it by any means. Underneath the mask I'm also wearing a dildo gag (that I cannot remove unless the padlock is opened)

Over the leather short I've put leather straps with padlocks so I cannot remove it. Under the shorts, I'm using a huge realistic dildo, and a steel chastity device (that I cannot remove unless padlocks are opened)

I'm completely chained - neck, wrists and ankles are locked with steel shackles, connected with pieces of chain. Additionally, ankles are also locked with leg cuffs, attached to the wall, so I cannot go around.

All the keys of my setup are locked in a box with a timer lock, that I set 30-minute ranges. Currently there are 21 minutes remaining. I've already endured a 30-minutes streak, which means that I will spend at least 1 hour in a comfy self-bondage while the rest of the world is burning.

It started with the two of us running out of ideas. At the planning stage, and worse, mid-scene, when the mood is there and nobody wants to stop and think about what happens next. Solo went in from the start rather than as an afterthought: selfbondage has its own content, its own safety rules and its own games, not a couples scene with one person deleted.

I'd also seen a fair few posts of people getting ChatGPT to run scenes for them. It works, until it refuses halfway through, or until it quietly forgets the one thing you told it you don't do. The second one bothered me a lot more than the refusals did.

So it's a catalogue with an engine on top. You fill in your limits, what you own and how far you want to go, and it rolls the evening out of whatever survives that - a full scene stage by stage, one of the games, or a single card when you're just stuck. Femdom, maledom, solo. There's also a chat mode: a Domme or a Dom handing you one order at a time, and it works solo too - arguably that's where it earns its keep. She can only issue what the catalogue already allows, so she can't talk herself into something you said no to. And whatever you're handed, in any mode, has a refusal button on it - not tonight, never again, or drop the whole category - so the app learns your limits by being told, never by guessing.

Two things I'd want from testers. First: does it ever hand you something that doesn't work in practice - impossible because of how you're already tied, or contradicting what it said two steps earlier. That's what I can't test on my own, and solo is where it's easiest to get wrong. Second, the opposite: what you went looking for and didn't find. A kind of play, a game, a piece of kit it doesn't know what to do with. It only knows what I thought to write down, and I'm one person with one set of interests - "I looked for X and it wasn't there" is worth more to me than "nice app".
