Mixed Indoor Smalls Oz from CBDHD ( CBD Hemp Direct )

I grabbed an ounce of the Mixed Indoor Smalls because I wanted to round out the rotation with something a step above the straight budget stuff without spending stupid money. It came out right around $69.99 an oz and showed up quick like always from CBDHD.

This is the new 3/6/26 batch — a mix of four strains: Zangria, Pave Khalifa, Silver Haze, and Strawberry Pop Tartz. The COA shows 25.58%–34.65% THCa, so it’s definitely in that solid indoor range.

Packaging was the usual stealth mylar, vacuum sealed, no smell leaking through. When I opened the bag the first thing that hit me was a sweet hempy smell — not super duper gassy, but definitely more like actual “illegal” cannabis than the CBG flower I’ve had from them. My nose picks up stuff just fine and this one actually had a pleasant, clean sweetness to it. Nothing loud or overwhelming, just a nice background note that made me go “alright, this feels like real weed.”

The smalls themselves look solid for the price. Mostly dense-ish little nugs, not fluffy or airy at all. Nice color within — good greens with some darker hues, and there’s purple ones as well, all covered in visible trichomes. They broke up clean in the grinder with almost no waste. For indoor smalls at this price point it’s a solid 7.5/10 appearance — clean, usable, and actually looks like it was taken care of.

We already know I can't taste smoke so let's just move on.

Burn was nice. Nice even combustion, grey/white ash, no harshness even when I ran it straight. I enjoy mixing with CBD/CBG trim and it works very well.

Effects are where these smalls really deliver. The high sneaks up on you then settles in nice and steady — good body relaxation with a mellow head buzz on top that doesn’t get racy. For a daily smoker with my tolerance it still gets me properly baked in a functional way. Not the heaviest knockout stone, but chill and comfortable. Perfect for after a shift or just chilling and organizing jars. I’ve gone through a few bowls mixed and straight and it was consistent every time. Considering there's four different strains in the oz it's almost like a makeshift hybrid.

Value-wise $70 an oz for mixed indoor smalls is okay. Quality feels consistent with what I’ve come to expect from CBDHD, packaging good, shipping fast. I’ve ordered from them plenty of times now and they haven’t let me down. I would definitely buy these again at this price.

Overall I’d say pick these up if you want a solid oz of indoors that looks decent in the jar and actually delivers but try to find a discount code or order in bulk. I’m rating it a 7/10. The sweet hempy smell, dense-ish smalls, nice mix of color, clean burn, and solid effects make it a reliable workhorse. If you’ve got a tad more money to go towards more flower, I'd grab it although again I'd try to find a discount code if I were you.

Grape Gas Smalls from CBDHD

Grape Gas Smalls from CBDHD – Honest Review

Yo what’s good Reddit, it’s your boy from Rockford checking in again. I picked up some Grape Gas smalls the other day because I wanted to mix something with a little color into the rotation. Nothing fancy, just a budget grab that looked like it might have some decent kick without costing an arm and a leg. It showed up quick like always from CBDHD, no issues at all.

First thing I did when I opened the bag was take a whiff. And honestly… zero loud smell. My nose picks up stuff just fine, but this one was dead quiet. No grape, no gas, no skunky berry, no earthy funk — just that clean, neutral hemp background. I’m not the type who needs a strain to stink up the whole room to enjoy it, so it didn’t bug me. I just made a mental note and moved on.

The smalls themselves look really solid though. I snapped a couple pics right after opening (you can see the close-up one attached). These are dense little nugs — not fluffy or airy at all. They feel compact and heavy for their size, like they were cured right. They’ve got this nice mix of purple and green hues going on, almost like someone dusted them with color, and they are absolutely covered in trichomes. Shiny as hell under the light, frosty looking, not dry or crumbly. When I broke a couple up in my fingers they had a little stickiness to them. Threw some in the three-piece grinder and they broke down super clean with almost no stems or waste. For smalls this is definitely upper-mids quality. They look and feel taken care of.

Honestly, out of everything in my current stash right now, Grape Gas is my best looking strain by a good margin. The purple pops really stand out in the jar next to all the plainer greens I’ve got. It just has that visual pop that makes you want to keep opening the jar and staring at it. The density helps too — these aren’t light and puffy; they’re tight, compact buds that feel substantial even though they’re smalls. In the jar they look way more premium than the price tag would suggest. When I grind them up the color is still there and the little bit of smell that’s present is clean. No hay, no ammonia, no off notes — just that neutral hemp smell that tells me it was cured properly.

I loaded up the one-hitter right away to see what it was about. Ground a small amount, packed it, took the hit. Smoke was smooth as hell. Nice even burn, white/gray ash, no harshness on that first pull. Taste-wise everything just comes through as warm plant smoke to me anyway, so I wasn’t expecting fireworks there, but the hit itself was clean and easy. No coughing, no scratchy throat, just straightforward.

The effects are where Grape Gas actually delivers. The high sneaks up on you after a few minutes, then it packs a solid punch. Nice heavy body stone that settles into the shoulders and back, with a mellow head buzz on top that doesn’t get racy or anxious. For a daily smoker with my tolerance (usually 3.5-5 grams a day whatever I’ve got going) it still gets me properly baked in a functional way. Not knock-you-out couch lock, but relaxing and comfortable. Perfect after a Subway shift or while I’m just chilling and organizing jars. I felt that classic body melt without making me useless. The head high stayed clear enough that I could still think straight and get shit done around the apartment.

I usually mix 70/30 with my CBD/CBG trim to stretch everything and balance it out. Grape Gas mixed really well with the trim. The combo felt even smoother and the effects were a little more rounded. Those trichomes aren’t just for show — this stuff actually hits. I’ve gone through a few bowls both mixed and straight and it was consistent every time. No weird anxiety spikes, no racing thoughts, just chill functional effects that fit right into the daily routine.

I’ve tried a bunch of CBDHD smalls and budget stuff by now (Black Amber, Glue Train, Rainbow Gas, that kind of thing). Grape Gas sits comfortably in the upper end for me. The lack of smell is the only real downside, but the appearance, the burn, the trichome coverage, and the effects more than make up for it. At the price I paid this is excellent value. It’s not the flashiest or loudest strain in my stash, but it’s a reliable daily driver that does the job without any drama and helps keep the rotation fresh. I can see myself reaching for this one when I want something that looks decent in the jar and still packs a punch without having to be the main event.

The density is what really stands out. These aren’t light and puffy at all — they’re tight, compact buds that feel substantial even though they’re smalls. In the jar they look way more premium than the price tag would suggest. When I grind them up the color is still there and the little bit of smell that’s present is clean. No hay, no ammonia, no off notes — just that neutral hemp smell that tells me it was cured properly.

Burn quality stayed consistent across multiple sessions. Nice even burn every single time, white/gray ash, no canoeing or running. The smoke stayed smooth even when I packed a little heavier. I’ve had some budget smalls that get harsh quick, but these didn’t. The trichome coverage is doing real work there.

I also tried it in a regular bowl later just to compare. Same smooth smoke, same solid effects. The one-hitter still felt like the best way to test it though, and Grape Gas passed easy. If you’re someone who uses a one-hitter to stretch your stash or stay discreet, this one will treat you right.

I paid attention to how it played with my tolerance too. I’m smoking every day, so I notice quick if something feels weak or if it actually cuts through. Grape Gas cut through. The body stone was noticeable even after I’d already had a couple bowls earlier. The mellow head buzz stayed pleasant and didn’t turn into anything weird. It’s the kind of strain that just makes you feel good and relaxed without any downsides. I ended up smoking a little more than I planned because it was that enjoyable, but I never felt overdone or foggy. That’s a win.

Overall I’m giving Grape Gas smalls a solid 7.5/10. Quiet on the nose but the trichomes, the density, the burn, and the effects are all real. If you want effective smalls that get the job done without needing to impress anyone with the smell, this one’s worth grabbing. It’s not the strain you pull out to show off to friends, but it’s a reliable workhorse that keeps the rotation fresh and does exactly what you need it to do.

Smoke one for me if you try it.

CBDHD " Budget Buds "Glue Train Review

I grabbed a QP of the Glue Train from CBDHD’s “Budget Buds” line to keep the fortress stocked. Price came out right around $21–$25 an oz and in my opinion that’s the kind of number that makes you go “alright, let’s see what we’re working with”.

Packaging was the usual CBDHD stealth — vacuum-sealed silver mylar, no smell leaking through, showed up quick like always. When I opened the bag it had a decent earthy/piney Glue Train smell, but nothing crazy loud. Not the strongest nose, just a clean plant smell. Even with my muted nose that doesn’t really pick up fancy terps on most flower, this one still registered as “yeah, that’s Glue Train.”

The buds look decent for the price. Here’s one I’m holding in the pic and another shot of the jar — nice compact little nugs, good green with some amber sugar-leaf, visible trichomes, and not too stemmy. It broke up easy in the grinder. Appearance is a solid 6/10 — functional daily driver, nothing flashy but clean and usable.

Smoke and taste I gotta keep it real: I cannot taste cannabis flavors no matter what I’m smoking. It all just tastes like warm smoke and plant material. Glue Train was exactly the same. That earthy/piney smell from the bag barely comes through once it’s lit. Just clean muted smoke. No cream, no citrus, no vanilla, no diesel. Other reviews mention that classic Glue Train taste but my taste buds don’t catch it. If you chase terps hard this might disappoint on flavor. For me it doesn’t matter — I’m here for effects and stretching the stash.

Burn was okay but it’s kind of harsh to hit straight. I usually mix it 70/30 with my CBD/CBG trim and that smooths it out a ton. Straight by itself it lets you know it’s there, but once mixed it burns even and the ash is nice white/gray.

Effects are where it actually delivers. The high kind of sneaks up on you. First bowl you’re like “eh, it’s fine,” then 15–20 minutes later you’re sitting on the porch realizing your shoulders dropped and the body feels nice and heavy in that classic Glue Train way. It’s definitely mids — I wouldn’t pull this out to impress friends or flex on anybody. But if someone is okay with that and you’re just trying to stay medicated without spending stupid money, for $21–$25 an oz it’s not bad at all. It grinds clean, mixes perfect with trim or Reggie pre-ground for cones, and stretches way better than you’d expect.

Value-wise the cost is fine for what you get. Quality’s been consistent with CBDHD’s budget line, packaging good, shipping fast. I’ve ordered from them plenty of times now and they haven’t let me down. I would definitely buy Glue Train again at this price.

Overall I’d say pick this up if you want a dependable daily driver to stretch your stash. I’m rating it a straight 6/10 for how well it works in mixes. The effects sneak up on you and they’re nice — not flashy, not weak, just a solid workhorse when combined right. If you’re on a budget, chasing high volume, and you don’t need loud terps or super dense nugs to be happy, this Glue Train is worth grabbing. As mentioned Cbdhd has given me more hits than misses so I'll keep buying and I would recommend giving them some try.

I'm 6'2 225 lbs androgynous looking and bisexual. I've always hated my body and despite the fact I lost 114 lbs in the last year I still understand I am not thin and most people would still refer to me as a " fat ass" so I just continue to hate on myself

I don't expect to go to a party and be able to do anything with anyone. I'm a realist and even if I were considered conventionally attractive that still wouldn't be reality either.

I'm afraid I'm going to be turned away because I just don't fit in the conventionally attractive type and I've always seen these events as something for " hot " people to do and not others.

Are these kind of events body positive? Or should I just not even bother

Second miss from tsb. I know I was paying for a 25 dollar oz so I knew it wasn't going to be great but I genuinely feel like I was duped. Attached are the images of the bud ( OG Kush ) I received and compared to the images they sent me. Fun thing is they put the image of what it actually looks like seemingly after I said something. Feel like I got false advertised.
