42[M4F] Shakespeare in the streets and Kerouac in the sheets…

The Protagonist

I’m a 42 year old, married man with an engineers mind, a writers heart, a bookworm’s looks and a humorous disposition who is searching for that inexplicable connection that makes our world stand still.

By profession, I create and build, finding elegance in precision and possibility in challenges. But beyond the logical world lies my true nature: a romantic soul who believes in grand gestures, long heartfelt messages, and the kind of connection that inspires sonnets. I also humbly accept that the possibility of finding that is *rare but worth the effort.*

- A pleasant on the eyes gentleman looking for an inexplicable mix of physical and emotional intimacy

- A world view shaped by books, travel and life experiences. I believe that sending a lady a book is one of the intimate gifts.

- A fit body with most original parts intact and stories about the scars that you’ll love

- Shoulders that will support you through life's storms and celebrate its joys

- If you saw me in real life I probably give off the Clark Kent vibes of “nerdy with a secret”

- I am a fan of making things with my hands and experiment with cooking, food, housework

The Love Interest

- A lady who believes in a heartfelt connection ideally in her 30s or 40s

- Someone who finds romance in both, our every messages and cuddling on a rainy day

- A soul who understands that a connection can be both passionate and gentle, fierce and tender

- A lady who can balance trust and vulnerability

- A lady who will bring her true self to this and is intelligent and curious

- A lady who values fitness and health

The Outro

If your heart flutters at the thought of old-fashioned romance with a gentleman, if you believe in the power of soulful connections – perhaps fate has led you to this very moment. Let's begin our chapter together, crafting a love story that would make Jane Austen proud. After all, the greatest adventures begin with a simple step - a message to me :)

42[M4F] 9 reasons why finding an AP is the same as spending the night in a haunted house

I'm a 42 year old dad in North America who's been around this block a few times.

Given the constant complaints on the topic of ghosts and my own, rather extensive experience, I've prepared a guide on the reasons on why finding an AP around these parts is the same as spending the night in a haunted house.

  1. You walk in thinking "How bad can this be?"

  2. Everything looks normal. Too normal.

  3. Strange,unexplained activity begins.

  4. You hear something weird but ignore it. A slight change in pattern, a comment, "calls from an ex".

  5. Then the red flags start creaking like old floorboards. You hear them… you ignore them… you regret it later.

  6. You try to rationalize everything “It’s fine. It’s probably nothing. I’m just overthinking.”

  7. The energy shifts. You can FEEL it.

Exchanges get dry. Replies get slow.

  1. Then—POOF. GONE.

  2. You escape, traumatized, swearing “never again.” and then download the apps again a week later like a side quest.

What about moi?
I’m a non ghosting, witty and fit man based in North America looking to share stories (ghost and non-ghost) with one fair maiden.

Let’s hear your favorite ghost story - Reddit or otherwise.

Me: Steady job, steady heart. I make a mean breakfast, remember birthdays, and listen more than I talk (unless we're debating which pizza topping reigns supreme — then I have thoughts). I’m not here to play games unless it’s Mario Kart or 20 questions. Looking for someone kind, a little soft around the edges, and ready for something real. Bonus points if you’ve been told you're "too emotional" — that just means you care, and I like that.

You: Maybe you've been through some things, maybe you doubt yourself more than you should. But here's the truth: if you're genuine, thoughtful, and still willing to try, you’re already someone worth knowing.

Let’s take it slow — or fast if the vibe's right — and remind each other that not all people disappoint.
