Hello there!

I noticed that the last times I posted here I got basically no responses, so apparently character development was needed.

Let’s start with realistic expectations. We are probably not running away together to Mexico tomorrow, although honestly that would make for a great story.

Also, let’s be honest with ourselves for a second. I’m not Brad Pitt, and you’re probably not Sydney Sweeney either. This is Reddit, not Hollywood. But maybe that’s actually a good thing.

What I can offer is good conversation, random humor, late night nonsense discussions, sarcasm, consistency, and maybe, if the Reddit gods allow it, we’ll even want to talk again tomorrow.

No pressure though. Life is exhausting enough already, so I’d rather keep things easy and natural instead of treating this like a corporate interview process.

About me, I’m 39, latino, 6'0, somewhere in dad bod territory but still in decent shape. Nerdy enough to spend time on Reddit, learning guitar, and disappearing into random rabbit holes at 2 AM.

I know a lot of people here are just looking for something quick or surface-level, but that is not really what I am after. I want a crush. I miss caring about someone, getting excited to wake up and see a good morning message, and building something that feels real, even if it lives online.

I would describe myself as sweet, attentive, and someone who actually shows up. I like making people feel valued and heard.

Life already asks us to wear enough masks, so I would love to build a space where we can just be ourselves and enjoy each other’s company without all that pressure.

We can talk about anything. Conspiracy theories, quantum mechanics, or very serious debates like what kind of cat is the coolest.

As for hobbies, I enjoy reading and learning new things. Lately I have been doing some tech writing for a blog. I cannot share it for confidentiality reasons, but I am always happy to talk about it. Fair warning, it leans into math and computer science, so it can get a bit nerdy.

I know attraction matters here, so for what it is worth, I have been called handsome once or twice. I think I hold up pretty well unless your standards are completely unreasonable.

If you are tired of empty conversations and want something that actually feels good to come back to, I would love to hear from you.

I do enjoy chemistry and attraction, but I prefer that side of things to build naturally and stay between us rather than being the whole point from the start.
