When I say crushes, I mean IRL AND FICTIONAL

Personally, I used to feel like it was a strong preference for me to have friends or partners who I can feel comfortable sharing our crushes together with.

Because in the case of a partner, I felt like doing that reduces any insecurities that either of us could have by being attracted to another person that wasn't each other

Plus it makes both of us more comfortable in our sexuality

But after having so many friends who I've shared and talked about our crushes with, as well as an ex partner who I also did it with as well, I think I'm now indifferent to whether or not we share our crushes

As long as my partner is fine with me masturbating and/or fantasizing about my crushes on my personal free time, that's all that matters to me

After all, that's still self-love. And if someone prevents you from enjoying your own body, they were never worth it anyway

What are your thoughts on my personal view? And what's your perspective on sharing crushes?
