It was a beautiful love story. We were neighbors and for a decade we hated each other with a passion. Then we went to different high schools and never talked again until we were 23. One summer afternoon he messaged me to ask if I had any weed, because of course I did, so we smoked together, had a couple of drinks, and the conversation was smooth enough.
