Hey y’all! Being self employed is definitely much more confusing than your taxes automatically being withheld, and I’m starting to think I should look into getting an accountant. I want to discuss how much I should be setting aside each month, investments, tax write offs, etc. It looks like there are sex work specific advisors online, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it. Does anyone have any experience with an accountant or any advice on choosing one?

I have paid messaging on now (thank you for the advice!) and free messaging for subs. This has worked well so far.
However, I have one sub that is driving me crazy. First, it began with trying to start conversations in the comments of posts (mind you, my messages are 50¢ each, and he was asking very specific questions)

Eventually, he subscribed to my lowest tier. He genuinely sends around 10 separate messages at once, and is constantly messaging me. I have told him that to message me that much, he will have to sub to my highest tier ($499) He said that he might.

I definitely think he is the “I promise I’ll buy this” type. What would you say to deter this behavior, or should I just block him?
