I met this cute girl in a college fest. We got a mutual friend so we met again in that friend's house the next day. My friend was busy so we came out together, had a brief chat and we went to another friend's house. We already decided that we gonna hv lunch in a nearby restaurant but a guy joined us from that friend's house.

Looks matter guys, that's the most important thing- and for men, the most important parameter is height. Even an ugly faced guy will pull many women if he is tall enough. And I understand that most of the women desire a tall guy (idk why some guys complain about that), they look more manly and feels to be safe with. Being a 5'3 probably has been the number 1 factor that I get friendzoned so easily, it also connects to my confidence level, I don't feel manly or dominant enough around girls, rather i get nervous and underconfident and for a good reason.
