Barefoot in the forest... So peaceful...

Impromptu stroll from yesterday...

It's not always about mountain climbing and forest hiking for an every day nudist! It's sometimes just chilling out with a good e-book.

Exploring a derelict mill built in the 1800s...

A few pictures of the old derelict mill at the Ashworth waterfall.

This old mill was previously used for wool production but it is now just a victim to time.

I had another free day today and I thought I'd take a trip to Barrow-in-Furness, Walney Island! Review.

So Walney Island is not an 'official' nudist beach but it has been said to have been used by nudist for many years.

So upon landing (by car), there's a great little free car park 'near' to the beach that needed to get to. Postcode LA14 3XZ. I write 'near' as it was a good 20 minute walk to get to the peninsula.

When you get to the end of the beach heading north, you know you're there.

I got there super early and there were hardly a soul there besides a few dog walkers near the car park and a couple of anglers a tiny bit further up from where you're parked.

At the peninsula, there wasn't a single person I saw for the three hours I was there besides a lovely middle aged lady (clothed) having her morning walk, after I had been there for 2 hours. I had just come out of the sea and she was heading her way south. She waved, we exchanged pleasantries, and she carried on her merry way. I guess she wasn't expecting to bump into a naked skinny dipper so early in the morning coming out of the chilly sea, but she was ever so charming about it!

After my three hours, I decided to head back to the car. It was so quiet and peaceful, I decided to walk back in naked. I walked all the way back towards the car park and didn't see anyone until I caught glimpse of some dog walkers and the previously seen anglers. Out of respect, I put my clothes back on.

Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely go again!

I decided to take a well earned day off to go on a naturist hike! Completed the morning with a skinny dip under a waterfall! The water was absolutely freezing!
