I've done online affairs before and they were fun, don't get me wrong, but I would like something with the possibility of in person. I'm not gonna lie, this is a little intimidating, but online only doesn't scratch the itch, so here I am.
If this post leads to any success it would be my first IRL adventure and because of that I will probably be more cautious than I have been with online only connections. This will be preaching to the choir, but there is a lot to lose here and I am not looking for an exit affair, just something that we can look forward to and help each other feel fulfilled.
I'm all about mutual vibe, being able to match each others energy and also having schedules that align enough that we can make time for each other without it looking suspect. My vibe is rooted in the 90's/Gen-X scene. My style is minimalist. My sense of humor is quick wit and sarcastic social commentary. I'm a big guy (not fat) who can easily blend in with the crowd, but can also command the spotlight despite my introversion. I'm handsome, can catch second glances and all that. Everybody I meet thinks I am in my mid-30's and are shocked when I say how old I am. I keep myself in decent shape but I am not a gym rat (I guess fit dad-bod would be accurate).
I'm attracted to women with an edge who are on the alternative side of things. I don't have a preference on age but I seem to vibe best with women who are 30-50. I prefer women who keep themselves closer to fit but aren't gym rats.

It wasn't a question if that what you are wondering. it was more like an internal monologue, the kind where you are browsing an unsavory subreddit and after thoughtful consideration you decide to let it fly and take a shot.
Verbose existential soliloquy (let's call it that for now) aside I am here for something fun, easy, and fulfilling. Just for some reference, I have been lurking/posting/responding here for a while with various levels of success. I know what I am looking for, not looking for, and open to. That said, I am not in the market for a second marriage via the lightning fast speeds of the internet, only here to (hopefully) meet someone (possibly you?) who is down to be each others special person. Someone who can fill gaps when they need filling (rawr if you are of the "less than wholesome" type). Whether it be a quick laugh, a decent conversation about some burning topic (or just some easy banter to pass the time), or you need someone to help you get off (come on, as much as we may like to admit we aren't horny and looking to see something extra, we certainly won't poo poo the idea).
I work an odd schedule and have a bunch of time during the day, not so much in the afternoon, and have a solid chunk of time later at night. My weekend falls smack in the middle of the work week. Pretty much all of the things that are meant to derail the average OA experience, so that said, if you fall into the category of unconventional with a healthy dash of night owl thrown in we will get on pretty well.
All I ask is that you are reasonable, relatively honest (ironic, I know), and take good enough care of yourself physically and mentally. Thats it all wrapped up with a fancy bow.
Perhaps we connect, perhaps we don't, but thats the fun part, right?

I've been fishing in the dark waters of Reddit for a while and there have been plenty of nibbles and a few catches that made it into the cooler, but mostly it has been catch and release, rinse and repeat. Needless to say, I know what I want. Now, the caveat is whether or not what I want is what you want, do our energies match, are our communication styles compatible, are our mutual sexual frustration levels in line, do we have schedules that compliment each others availability... and the hits keep comin' lemme tall ya.
I'm a mix of tall and handsome. Witty and reserved. Wild and stoic. Some days I can banter all day and others I am down for the deep stuff that you only share with someone truly special. I'm not available 24/7, but the time I do have will be there for you to indulge in. I don't have a preference on age as long as you aren't vapid or immature... you know, be deeper than a diamond but less pretentious. I have a soft spot for alternative style and a punk rock girl mentality. I don't do the standard "what do you do" type get to know you sessions... I want to know the delightfully awkward and funny.
I'm a lot of things other guys are not, and not the things a lot of guys are, so if you want something that isn't the same old same old maybe we would match.
I'm not a fitness model nor am I a potato with limbs and I can still turn heads while catching lingering glances. If you are in a similar boat I would love to set sail with you.
