Feminism has some appeal. Misogyny needs to step up its game.
Listen, I get it.
On the surface, feminism definitely has marketing appeal. They throw all these lofty words at you: autonomy, self-determination, liberation. Those all sound great, especially when they conveniently fail to mention the less lofty words like stress, anxiety, and deadlines.
Well, to combat the feminist charm offensive, Misogyny is rolling out a new initiative: GGGSSs, otherwise known as "Good Girl Gold Star Stickers."
Misogyny has acquired a limited number of vintage gold star stickers, just like the ones you earned in school when you did something really special. Mind you, these are not the simple, flat foil stickers. These are the textured ones that are sparkly, as if they were covered in glitter. Do you remember how special you felt earning one? Do you remember running your finger over it again and again? Of course you do—you were a special girl, and you earned lots of stickers. You were so special.
Well, now, thanks to Misogyny, that special, accomplished feeling can finally be yours again! Just turn away from the empty promises of feminism and embrace the warm reassurance of traditional womanhood.
Don't you deserve to feel special? Don't you deserve that intoxicating feeling of earning approval? Don't you deserve a good girl gold star sticker?
But hurry! There are only a limited number of these special GGGSSs. You're not going to let some other girl get *your* gold star sticker, are you? Reject feminism and earn the reward you deserve!
