Favorite Body Part

Curious to see what your favorite part of the body is, on a bigger body or otherwise.

Personally, it’s a tie between tummy and arms. I love love love some soft arms (*^▽^*)

Im supposed to be dieting right now…

After gaining up to 180 lbs at my highest (bmi 32…) I lost a bunch in prep for top surgery and to address some health stuff.

But the past few weeks I’ve relaxed a little on my diet. Late nights at work leading to Mc Donald’s a few nights a week… and then it was a sweet treat to pick me up throughout the day…

Now I’m sitting here eating my way through a family size bag of Reece’s cups and drinking a Starbucks vanilla frappe made with heavy cream and wondering why my brand new Size Small shirts are clinging to my belly.

Should I keep up the diet? Or keep giving in to my urges?

If you are a short guy, has weight impacted your body image or dysphoria?

I am a pretty short guy myself (5’3.5”) and weight has definitely impacted my view of myself. Gaining weight filled out my frame in a way that just felt so right, like I was taking up the space that I should as a man.

At a lighter weight, I feel more ‘waif-like’ and unsubstantial, which in turn increases dysphoria for me.

Can anyone relate?

Scale went up...

Belly looks smaller today (I think) but it feels like that's because everywhere else is getting bigger :)

Starting T, weight gain, and gender identity

I’ve seen a few posts on Reddit recently from fellow transmascs discussing how weight gain associated with HRT has affected their gender identity and dysphoria.

I’m curious to hear others share their thoughts here!

For me, I experienced intense hunger after starting T. In my first year, I gained about 15 pounds, and about 20 pounds each year over the next three years.

Ballooning like this, with most of the weight landing on my gut, arms, and face, was extremely gender affirming. For once, my hips were not the widest thing on my body. I was fascinated by how my waist actually curved outwards rather than inwards!

I’ve since lost a bit of weight due to health reasons, but I really miss being larger and feeling like I took up more space, despite being so short lol

Has anyone else had similar experiences? How has being larger affected your identity or dysphoria?
