I really need your help. I want to be locked long term, but I cant make any device work so far.

I am trying different cheap devices and I just cant get them to hold.

The problem is, that even if I am barely able to apply the gland ring (no lube), as soon as I get an erection in the closed cage my cockhead slowly (and painfully) grows below the gland ring.

With balltrap devices I wasnt even able to make it work with a tight strap. The device would end up in an angle and my cock would pop out the basering. Last time heavily bruised.

I need to make shaftonly work somehow. Is there any device that uses a sturdy silicone gland ring that can bend a few milimeters? I think that might just be enough that I wont be able to escape.

I can’t get my balls in any ring from testosterone use,
Maybe you guys can tell me how a shaft only cage works, right now I strap the cage down with a belt.

Which cage do most couples prefer shaft only or ball trap devices?

So… after seeing all of the material on Reddit and beyond and anxious to finally get something comfortable enough for *longterm* wear… I ordered the cupcake 2.0 in the 28mm long and short formats.
I live in the UK but from order to receipt took 7 days which I think is very fair.
The packaging is discreet and minimal. The device is neat and well made.
I started with the short version and a ring somewhere in the middle of the range.
Following the instructional videos, I was able to put it on in under a minute. So far, so good…
The ring size seems to be the right one, the shaft size is perhaps a shade smaller than I ought to have gone but it still fits well. Being uncut I was concerned about foreskin gathering but I had no reason. Everything fits in fine.
So I locked up and embarked upon my first trial lockup….
This thing will NOT come off without the key. I tried everything and no slipping out.
No sensation is transmitted to my glans, no movement is likely to bring me to orgasm.
The weight is perfect and you just don’t know it is there other than a constant, gentle ‘squeeze’ along the shaft…
The glans is not rubbing against the head portion either…
I’m going to try and stay locked all night (but with the key to hand.
I’m sure I will need to tweak a few things before a proper lockup but yes…. This could be the one!

I've been on a ball-trap / tetherspout kick for a while now but decided to switch back to shaft-only for a bit so pulled out my custom nylon Grip that I hadn't tried on yet. My last one, the alpha print caused a hot spot on the top of my corona. This one uses the wide band without the wings. I used the 31 mm as that's what I had in my alpha print. It seemed solid but it came off overnight (the penis does weird things at night). I switched to a 29 mm one and while it's certainly snug, it doesn't seem to be giving me any comfort issues and it stayed on over night.

Anyway, fun to be back in a shaft-only device.

Now I just need to add a titanium version to my collection. You hear that u/notuntil ;)
