Found my solution to the rubbing! A metal washer and solder
Excuse the bad solder job lol. It's only soldered on one side just as a trial run for the washer placement. I'll give it a few days to access comfort and then clean it up later

I’ve been wearing this cage and spout from BAWR since Nov. The fit and feel are amazing. I was in a Kink3d for three years prior. I wanted to go full time with the spout so I looked through BAWR’s site and found this cage, 13D. It was a semi custom so it was off a little on my measurements, but I wanted to try it out.
It was just a minor amount bigger, but it turned out to fit me perfectly. I haven’t had an issue since I put it on. The added security definitely was a mind trip and my wife loves it.
I've had requests to add the ability to use the tetherspout glans hood with the glans rings. I've add this as an option when ordering. Just select With Rings: Yes at checkout and you should be able to use both the tetherspout and the glans rings at the same time.
I've had massive issues with the tetherspout pinching and causing inflammation. So I decided to take matters into my hands because kink3d doesn't seem to be interested in upgrading their cages.
I will update you on effectiveness of this solution in the future. If you have any questions ask below.
I was waiting all month to install the tetherspout. Only took two attempts to install it
I’m so nervous posting this. But here goes…
I feel like I sanitized everything really well and lubed the parts. It really didn’t take long to get in and held in place without adjustments. I was nervous that the ring would be hard to get slipped out of place but it doesn’t work like a pressure fitting, the rod isn’t tapered like that and it just slips off. Once at the tip it takes a little maneuvering but I am sure there is a trick I didn’t bother finding before it slipped out on its own. Sorry I forgot the lock..I was jittery and no one said I had to leave it in 😅
Hey! This is my first time ever using a TetherSpout, so I’m not sure what’s normal. I was inserting the part where the ring attaches, and noticed one tiny drop from the urethral opening, so I stopped immediately.
Since then I’ve been able to pee normally. My urine looks normal/pale yellow, and I have no burning pain, soreness, or continued bleeding.
Is a tiny amount of blood like that somewhat normal for a first time user, or does it mean I injured myself? Should I wait a few days before trying again? Also, is there anything specific I should watch for regarding infection?
I’m definitely not trying to push through anything.. I just want to make sure I use it safely since this is my first time.
Also any advice is appreciated:)
Edit- when I noticed the bleeding I didn’t feel anything. I just noticed a drop of blood accumulate on the top of my urethra and travel up the dental floss.
With my jock and cup.
Has anybody tried getting a custom spout or some other solution to have a bit deeper penetration instead of how the spouts sit right at the end of the urethra? Basically a hollow penis plug secured by the tetherspout principle in a way you can wear it longer. The original Tetherspout guy had some stuff but all homemade. Anybody done a custom BAWR sound/spout or anything?
My test cage from BAWR finally came in yesterday and I absolutely love it! Right away I paired it with my custom E2 tetherspout (17mm length) and the pair was made for each other! 😁
As for the cage, I'm 99% sure I will make the titanium move soon. I think it's a tad too short at the moment (might be better if it was 5mm longer). Also, the rings are smaller than I imagined and the largest one I ordered (42mm) is a bit tight. I'll also be sure to have the holes drilled on the side of the tip as well so the ring/bar can go through them.
Anyways, I slept in it with no issues, can use the toilet standing and I can't believe how much of an amazing job they did following my exact measures, given it's a test cage only.
What do you think?
I've been trying tetherspouts for a bit over a month, starting with the 2 smallest Ternence sizes. After getting used to the feeling, the 8 mm + 10 mm (smallest) fits well and doesn't escape, but still I'm trying the 9 mm + 11 mm to see if it's easier to use as an anti-escape tool.
I was able to fit the 9 mm after a little stretching (I haven't done any sounding before ever). It's a tight fit, but I can wear it in the default position (it kinda snaps in place with the retainer when I push it in) indefinitely and I don't even feel it unless it gets caught in underwear and hurts a bit to push it in. I can feel the 8 mm when it's pushed in, but it isn't uncomfortable.
All that to say that I think the 9 mm is a tight fit, and any size bigger will be uncomfortable or won't even go in. Still, I was testing the waters with a drill stopper to lock it to a cage, but I notice there is still a little bit of urine flowing around the tetherspout.
Is it common? Is there anything I can do to prevent that? If not, how do you deal with higiene with the urine that gets caught behind the locking ring?
Day 17…. Since I was not traveling and still WFH Mistress wife keep it locked up… I’m gonna climb out of my skin. I love eating her out as a reward and the trade but holy shit…
Hi all. I am a decently long term tetherspout user (about a year). I have been experiencing painful nighttime erections in my custom BAWR cage, usually due to my erection pressing hard against the end of my cage, causing what I am deducing is crushing of the tetherspout in my urthera due to compression.
Has anyone gotten a custom tetherspout at a shorter length and if so, did it help resolve this? I currently have the custom E1 from BAWR which is 28mm long. Wondering if I went a bit shorter if it could help this issue at all, or if I am way off base.
I have access to my own lathe so I made an 8mm threaded spout to the design of the tetherspouts out of stainless steel and polished the hell out of it.
Because of the design of the ring it's absolutely impossible to pull out without unthreading the spout AND having the key
It's amazingly comfortable and easy to pee in with no need to remove it, more testing needed for long term wear.
I wanted to try making the threaded one as I wanted something that's solidly attached to my small cage and didn't have a lock hanging from it, the aim to be as small and hidden as possible
made a 7mm ish tetherspout from a stainless bolt. the oval retainer was made from the head of the bolt with metal files. the hole down the bolt was made with a carbide drill bit. pic here for 3 days https://storage.to/NP0aby7aQ
