Has anyone ever tried the BP series of cages with BAWR? It claims to be designed lightweight by hollowing out the base ring, but I’m wondering if this would be lighter weight than a cage with virtually the same dimensions in the BD series (if both were titanium).
Hi all. I am a decently long term tetherspout user (about a year). I have been experiencing painful nighttime erections in my custom BAWR cage, usually due to my erection pressing hard against the end of my cage, causing what I am deducing is crushing of the tetherspout in my urthera due to compression.
Has anyone gotten a custom tetherspout at a shorter length and if so, did it help resolve this? I currently have the custom E1 from BAWR which is 28mm long. Wondering if I went a bit shorter if it could help this issue at all, or if I am way off base.

Hi all, does anyone have good experience with different kinds of custom base rings, found at retailers like BAWR? Specifically, there is the standard ring and the curved ergonomic ring (found at many places), but BAWR has a curved ergonomic ring that is flat on the surface that makes contact with the skin. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this and, if so, what the benefits of that shape are.
My hypothesis would be that the flat ring has more direct surface area and therefore would hold up better that the ones that are round/cylindrical, but I would love to understand what people’s experiences with them are before purchasing one.
I’ve been wearing a tetherspout 24/7 for a couple of months now with no general discomfort during the day while wearing my custom titanium cage from BAWR. However, when I get nocturnal erections (that are very strong) ~3 times per night, I am awoken by painful pinching or urethral pain. I then have to get up to go pee or generally move around to get the erection down to lighten the pressure. No matter how long I have a cage on, my body does not “adjust” and lighten the erections. They’re consistent every night, disrupting sleep. My ring is as tight as it can be without cutting off blood flow, so it’s not a loose ring problem. My cage is about ~0.5inches smaller than my flaccid size.

I’m a long time chastity enthusiast (about 10 years) and have had a variety of cages from resin to metal. That said, I am still struggling with my “perfect fit.”
It seems some people are able to get cages that are shorter than their flaccid length and somehow their balls (if they’re tighter) are able to hold the cage up. My current cage is about a half an inch shorter than my flaccid length and I had hoped to be able to sort of “squish” my shaft in and have it hold up, but it often sags, leaving part of my shaft hanging out the top. I know I could get a waist strap to alleviate this, but then I have to deal with the discomfort of chafing under my balls due to it being unnaturally lifted.
To the question: realistically, for my forever cage (if I want it to be titanium - which I know is a little heavier than resin), do I need to have the length match the shortest flaccid length of my penis, in order for it to better hold up naturally?
