Training hiccup progress

So I’ve been wetting every night for months now.

UNTIL…

Last week I had a dry night. Then a few days later I woke up instead of peeing. And then another dry morning.

Unacceptable.

I had been peeing before diapering up and then drinking fluids, which helped to keep my urine less smelly. I’ve also been doing a lot of exercise.

I think the culprit is my exercise routine making me lose so much water weight. I’m down 26 lbs! Everything fits better (especially diapers), and I’m loving the dopamine from the exercise.

So between peeing before bed and being dehydrated from exercise last night I doubled what I normally drink.

I didn’t want to go to bed with my bladder so full it was distracting… but surprisingly after 900 ml it was not! So I finished my two big baby bottles (450 each), and drifted off.

This morning: soaked!!

😅

I’d gotten so used to peeing at night it really threw me for a loop when I wasn’t able to.

I truly think I could train myself back to full control in a week. Another lesson learned: my body, though susceptible to diaper training, was ready to snap back into dry nights as soon as I decreased my fluid intake.

I’ll be testing this more and keeping my fluid intake high.

Ebbs and flows of training

After months of continuous wetting I seem to have backslid? The other night I woke up to pee instead of just peeing, and today I work up dry! Two outliers in 4 months isn’t bad… nevertheless…

I may have to go back to more rigorous training.

Things I changed that may have effected my training:

I started peeing before my nighttime diaper. THEN drinking more water. This was mostly to flush out my system and have cleaner urine.

I stopped drinking a lot of water. I was still drinking close to 600 ml but i seem to be holding it?

I’ve been exercising a lot. I wonder if I’m dehydrated.

Will be adjusting.

My ABDL lifestyle is locked in

So a few musings:

My paci never falls out anymore.

I put it in and I can feel my mouth sort of LOCK it in.

I trained myself to bedwet. I wake up every morning wet.

I also have two giant baby bottles of water next to me at all times before bed. I usually finish one and that’s enough to make me wet.

I wear a onesie every night to sleep.

And of course my stuffies under my arm.

I have an entire bureau of ABDL diapers that get a thick overnight booster every night. Currently in Lil Comforts Stardust Nursery diapers (my new favorite of all time).

And in the morning I usually just put on some denim shortalls and toddle around in care bear slippers.

I don’t know what’s next for my ABDL journey but the lifestyle has me in a death grip. I love it.

Open to suggestions!

Unsolicited pictures

Can we all agree sending someone an unsolicited picture of your diapered crotch is not ok?

People DM me, I politely answer.

Normal conversation.

BOOM: diapered crotch.

It’s not hard to say: “can I send you a picture?”

What’s the solution?

Public shaming?

Can we create a rule in this community where there are consequences?

I don’t know what the appropriate consequence would be…

A screenshot of the rule being broken gets you banned from the sub?

I dunno…

Realization 🥹

I wake up happy EVERY MORNING.

Diapers are expensive.
I’ve added steps to my daily and nightly routine.
It’s not always convenient.

But to wake up every day this happy?

Priceless.

I’ve untrained at night

Now what?

So I trained myself to wet at night. Started last year and now I wake up soaked every morning!

It’s definitely KEEPING me in diapers, which was the point. To resist the urge to take a night off. I have to wear them. So now diapers are a part of my every day.

Right now I’m not too interested in daytime wearing. But I think about it just enough to wonder… in a few years is that what I’m going to be doing too?

Is this a slippery slope? Hehe

Is this how anyone became 24/7?

Anyone graduate from bedwetting to “maybe I’ll just put another one on” and then never took them off?

Discussions first, photos second

The rules of Bedwetter Club have been amended to clarify what kind of photos are welcomed in this subreddit. There are many subreddits dedicated to diaper pictures, this is not one of them.

Bedwetter club a discussion-focused community.

Photos are welcome when they contribute to a conversation, progress update, gear review, success story, question, or experience related to overnight wetting.

Posts with photos that are low-effort or do not provide discussion value may be removed.

We’re here to share experiences, routines, methods, encouragement, and support.

Creative, informative, and discussion-worthy photo posts are encouraged.

Moderators have final discretion regarding whether a post is appropriate for the community.

I don’t want to discourage anyone from posting! Quite the opposite. But I don’t want this to be another subreddit overtaken by diapered crotch shots etc.

Eliminate shame

One thing I’ve noticed in the ABDL community is that someone will make a post, share something vulnerable, get a few replies… and then a day later the post is gone.

Sometimes the account is gone too.

There are plenty of reasons someone might delete something from the internet. But I think a lot of the time it’s something many of us know well: shame.

The things that make us feel safe, comfortable, happy, and understood are often the very things we’ve been taught to hide.

If you’re an adult, in the privacy of your own home, enjoying something that harms no one, I don’t think that’s something you need to be ashamed of.

You don’t owe anyone an explanation for what brings you comfort.

I just saw a few deleted profiles and comments on this subreddit, and it made me want to say this:

I’m proud of you for being here.

I’m proud of everyone who’s shared their experiences, asked questions, celebrated progress, or admitted something they’ve never told another person.

And I’m incredibly proud to have started this subreddit and found all of you.

For a niche little corner of the internet about wetting diapers in bed, we’ve built something surprisingly kind.

Thanks for being part of it. 🌙

Perfect night.

Did everything I usually do. Fell asleep, easy. Woke up, absolutely soaked. And there’s a type of wet that I really love the most where you can kind of feel the padding is wet.

Also, I woke up because I had to pee and realizing that I already had (a bunch) was awesome.

That’s all! It’s definitely happening more often than not these days. This is seven months in now. Just thought I’d give everyone the update! Keep going.

New Mattress Protector

Since I started this subreddit I’ve gotten so much great advice on bedwetting, from fluid intake to best practices for diapering.

In case you didn’t know we have a bonafide bedwetting diaper training expert in our club: @dtashley

They’ve helped me a ton and I’m taking their advice and getting a better bedwetting pad to sleep on. After all, a big goal and rule of bedwetter club is to help each other prevent leaks!

My mattress has a cover but I like to protect my sheets from an occasional soggy bottom.

So I’m getting her recommendation of a KANECH brand washable waterproof bed pad. I’ve been sleeping on a little Rearz changing pad and… while it’s been SUPER cute… I’m definitely getting more pragmatic as this has become a permanent lifestyle for me.

I’ll probably still carry around my little Rearz pad for when I place my soggy butt around the house in the morning, but my bed will now be safe and dry.

Thought I’d pass it along!

Bedwetter Club community poll!

Hey bedwetters!

First off, I’ve been blown away by how this subreddit has been growing!

There are so many of us (and a lot more who haven’t found us YET… so spread the word!)

I love learning about all of you. I know a lot of you are ABDL. Just curious where we all fit on that spectrum!

I’m keeping the poll binary.
I assume EVERYONE here likes being in diapers but I’m curious how many are getting babied up (or like to when they get the chance).

So are you ABDL? Or strictly DL?
