Subs & Time Zones

I just had a sub approach me, and straight off the bat, his first message was asking how the time zone difference and messaging would work since I’m in Australia. It’s a genuine question, and I completely understand the concern, but when that’s the first thing raised, to me, it’s lack of initiative.

I actually don’t have many Australian subs… Australian men generally aren’t my type. Most of my subs are American or international, and they make it work by taking initiative. They add my time zone to their phone, some even add the weather for my city, learn when I wake up, set alarms, and make sure they’ve sent my coffee before I’m even awake. They learn my routine and adjust their own schedules around it.
I also travel internationally quite a bit, so I’m not automatically always in Australia, and sometimes our time zones line up far better than someone might assume.

For me, time zones aren’t really the issue… it’s initiative. Wake up an hour or two earlier, stay up a little later, or occasionally set an alarm to wake up for an hour together. These are simple adjustments when someone genuinely wants to make it work. I understand wondering how a time difference will work, but I pay attention to whether someone looks for solutions or immediately sees an inconvenience.

If they wanted to, they would… and in my experience, the ones who genuinely want to, do. 🫶🏻

Reflecting 🤍

I found this old story that’s no longer on my page, but I wanted to share it because, WOWWW!! Seeing how far I’ve come since is insane! 🥹

Make your goals ambitious. Make them HUGE, because that’s what these goals felt like back in 2022. I had no idea how I was going to achieve any of them… but I did and then I went BIGGER!

By then, I hadn’t just had one Bottega bag bought for me by a sub… I actually had two! I got the green Jodie bag and a black shoulder bag, and I even got the matching green Bottega heels to go with the Jodie. I also ended up moving to Sydney. It was a really difficult period because it was right when the COVID borders had reopened, so the move wasn’t easy.

Fast forward a couple more years, and now I have my $20,000 Chanel bag symbolic of a goal I hit. I live in Sydney, I have a house that’s being built, and I’m still hitting my earning goals… except let me tell you, they’re a LOT bigger than that now. I’ve definitely exceeded the goals I once thought were huge.

There’s a lot of other goals I have achieved but I will keep those ones private as they are personal. 🤍

Also those goals I made in 2022 weren’t small for that time either. They were genuinely ambitious for where I was at the time. And now look at me. 🥹 So make the goals that feel like too much. Make the ones that seem almost out of reach. You might be pleasantly surprised when the reality ends up being even better than what you originally dreamed of.

Date Night…

Tonight should be fun!
