We’ve been married 31 years tomorrow me (M54) her (F55). Sex has always been sparse in our relationship, and sexless for the last 8. We’ve never have had sex on our anniversary and I don’t expect it tomorrow. In the past I’ve always tried to show how important she is, but this year I’m not feeling it and I can’t think of what to do to make it a special event. My wife always wants me to plan and show I care but there is no reception, and I don’t feel the same way I used to. I’m tired of trying with nothing in return. How do others make these days special knowing or feeling you’re not cared for?

A life long addiction

My first experience with a girl wasn’t sexual but it started a curiosity that turned into exploding myself and others.

When I was in kindergarten I had a female friend who was in 5th grade. She wanted me see how boys pee. I showed her, I then asked to see her. Since then I was curious and as I grew older i became obsessed with female anatomy. Any chance I got is try to get a girl to show me her body.

As I got older I discovered some magazines, playboy or Penthouse before my teenage years. They would excite me. No one ever told me what masturbation was, but once again discovered that I was jerking off 3 time a day at a minimum, whenever and wherever I could without being caught, home, school, church, outside, in the barn, if I was in the mood I’d find a secluded spot and do it.

I fantasized about women or having a girl friend, what would it be like, always objectifying women, wanting to know what they were like naked.

I got married as a virgin and thought marriage would be love and sex. My wife only wanted sex one or twice a month, now we haven’t had any at all. That has driven me to other avenues to see the high that comes from having my sex or talking about it. I’ve done things I’m not proud of, but this has been a life long addiction. I hate and love it at the same time.
