Is this cutting diet too aggressive for my activity level? Looking for opinions from other women

I recently started working with a well-known Brazilian nutritionist/bodybuilder (I'm Brazilian), but the diet he gave me feels like very little food. Before I go back to him, I’d appreciate a second opinion from other women.

Diet:

  • Fast until lunch
  • Lunch: 200g chicken + 100g cauliflower rice
  • Pre-workout: 300ml egg whites + 80g cottage cheese + 70g white rice on lower body days only
  • Dinner/post-workout: lettuce, bell peppers, 200g ground beef or turkey, plus 220g sweet potato on lower body days or 170g yellow potato on upper body/cardio days

That’s everything. I track my food, and I was shocked to see that that puts a lower-body day (the higher-food day) at only ~1,165 calories: 87g carbs, 10g fat, and 172g protein.

I’m 5'4", around 59kg/130lb, with approximately 17.8% body fat and 28kg/61lb of skeletal muscle mass. My goal is to reach around ~14% body fat while preserving muscle, not actively trying to gain more (and no way I would with this amount of food!).

I lift 5x per week with progressive overload, to failure: 3 lower body and 2 upper body sessions. I do 20 minutes of zone 1/2 cardio after lower body days and 15 minutes of HIIT after upper body days. On weekends, I usually do a run or hike, and I average around 10k steps daily.

For full context, I’m also taking 3mg of var daily. I was previously on 10mg of tirze weekly but recently switched to 5mg tirze + 2.5mg reta.

I’ve been following this diet for 3 weeks, and I’m struggling. My appetite and food noise have increased significantly, so sticking to it is taking much more willpower than usual. I realize the tirze/reta change could be contributing to that, but I don’t think it’s the main culprit or fully explains how depleted I feel.

My lifts aren’t improving, and my body composition still feels plateaued. This seems extremely low for my activity level, especially in fats and carbs, but I want to make sure I’m not being unreasonable or “weak” before discussing it with him. Thoughts?

trying to start microdosing testosterone

Not sure if I'm allowed to post here but I need any advice or insight on this.

I'm a trans man (pre transition). I can't transition right now for various reasons, I need to move out and get financially stable first.

I discovered I can safely obtain testosterone where I live so I've been really considering microdosing for enhancing my gym progress.

I've been working out on and off for the past 11 months and I have made decent progress. I would say I progressed faster than an average female. For example when I used to incline DB press, I went from 10 kg dumbbells to 22 kg dumbbells for reps in six months which is apparently fast. This alongside other factors make me think I already have elevated levels of testosterone, though I haven't tested yet.

Now I've been thinking I'd do 20 mg of enanthate testosterone per week and monitor my blood work. The problem is I can't transition right now so I need to still pass as a girl and not have super masculine side effects.

I'm worried that microdosing will produce more of the undesirable changes (facial hair, voice drop) and not substantially enhance my gym progress. I'm already very hairy. I have dark coarse hair on my stomach, genitals, armpits, legs and thinner hair everywhere else including my chest, neck and face.

Would this be manageable at all? and would it be worth it? or should I work with what I can naturally produce for now?

I want to run 5mg anavar but am so scared of virilization

I am 32f 5'6" 150lbs pretty damn lean with a solid amount of muscle. Have been lifting for 5 years with 2 pregnancies in there, so not consistently on my game throughout.

I have been insanely on point for the last year or so, macros, lifting heavy, progressive overload. I lift 5x per week and hit my protein and nutrition every single day. I have been wanting to try var for a while now and feel that it could really take me to the next level. I just got some in the mail yesterday. Im just so scared that its going to fuck me. My biggest fears are the hair loss, voice changes, and enlarged clit.

I have been reading that 5mg daily for 6 weeks is a pretty safe cycle. I guess I just wanted to make my own post and chat with some of you women about your personal experiences.

Thank you!

I am trying to inform my girl in her fitness journey

She is 36F has come a long long way and developed great naturally. She wants to go to a higher level. I have been on successful cycles before and used SARMS. I understand how a PCT and things like NAC are essential. However her anatomy is far different than mine. I want to steer her in a safe, results filled direction. I have gone to Google but I also like the advice of real people. LAgain she has come a long way but want to kick it up a notch and I take her health seriously. I have anavar currently at the house access to just about anything.

Thank you.

What compounds can y’all use without too much risk of virilization?

Hey everyone, male here looking for information on what anabolics are safe for women that want to minimize virilization?

My sister has been bodybuilding for about 6 years now and came to me asking about gear because she knows I take it. I didn’t know much aside from anavar being relatively safe at lower doses.

I’ve also heard some ladies like to use npp? What dosages are considered “safe” in this regard? Is it even a safe compound for someone worried about side effects?

Any information you all can give me would be super appreciated 🙌 the internet is totally filled with info on the male side of things but info on women’s steroid use feels super limited in comparison. Thanks in advance!

Is this Anavar dose too high

I’m currently in an off season as a bikini competitor. I need to grow some muscle before I plan to compete nextate spring/ early summer. I’ve been taking low dose Test for a couple of years already, 6mg Test subcut weekly. I’m about to begin an Anavar cycle soon. I’ve ran Anavar cycles before for about 2 years off and on with the last one being almost 2 years ago. My coach wants to start me off at 10mg of Var daily. Is that too much? Or is that an appropriate dose given that I have been exposed to it before and may need to start at a higher dose?

First time dose per Coach - too high?

TLDR; my trainer wants to start me on stack of 20 mg of primo + 20 mg of var per day and it’s my first experience with PEDs but not hers. I’m concerned that It’s starting off too strong

I, 35f, have never used PEDs before and have started a Wellness physique journey. From beginning of May 2026 up until today I’ve lost 16 pounds SW: 175 CW: 159. I am NOT new to exercise (have strength trained since 2018 and been an athlete my whole life, just always chubby) started with a very experienced coach, she’s a golden age bodybuilder IFBB pro etc but she knows exactly what she’s doing, I definitely have full trust in her however, what she’s saying goes against what I’ve read.
I am not her first athlete that she’s trained obviously - her most recent was a wellness athlete as well. My only concern is we talked about my first off-season from October to January and my goal is to do a show in July 2027. She wants to start me on a stack of 20 mg of primo + 20 mg of var per day.
When I had started with her, I said I wanted an aggressive cut and I want to build muscle quickly because I’ve been working out my whole life and I’m just sick of being in an endless cycle. I have a goal and I want to finish it and I thought this would help so the aggressive portion is on my end. I want the results I’m putting in the work and this time my diet is dialed in. I’m working very hard. I’m just more concerned with the stack… What are your guys’s thoughts? I can give any additional information if you need it. And I DO want the muscle and the physique so I’m not hesitant on that portion but rather the side effects both virilization and health. Thanks!

Primo is kinda boring

Started on the 5th with 30mg and increased last week to 50mg.

Its my first cycle with injections and they really bother me and fuck me up, but ill hopefully learn how to reduce PIP and get over it 😅

I feel almost natty and dont notice any huge spikes in strength. Just some roid rage, will it really change when I hit the full 4 weeks of primo?

Mk2866 or mk667

Alright which option is best for me?
Mk667 feels slightly safer than mk2866
But will it be effective for more muscle on upper body?
Right now
Height:160cm
Weight:45kg
Bf:%21
Edit : they says mk667 doesn’t have androgen specific
Eng is not my native language so I am sorry

Var or ostarine?

Currently in an improvement phase (bikini competitor). I don’t want to gain much more body fat but continue to retain/grow some more muscle mass til I start prep in dec.

I’m looking at an initial 8 weeks cycle and low dose.

Which do I go for?

I understand all risks aligned with both.

22 years old female and want to start anavar (need advice)

i’m 22, 170cm/5’7 and 56 kgs.

id like to start anavar for a lower body fat percentage and a more masculine body type & feature since i am very masculine presenting but my body does look very feminine unfortunately. I’m not looking to build insanely large body building type of muscles.

i’m okay with developing a deeper voice, clit growth etc but my only worry is insulin resistance, male pattern hair loss and facial hair growth which is why i’m thinking of pairing it with a dht blocker like dustaride 0.5mg and maybe minoxdil.

i would appreciate all beginner advice and what dose i should start with or supplements i need to pair anavar with and things i need to look out for.

Low risk steroid for women?

Asking for my gf she seems interested in optimizing her metabolic health and im on gear myself she sees results but im doing research on what women take i know anavar but if someone could help us out a bit that would be cool is there anything else women take if so what and minimal risk we dont mind any slight clitoral growth and definitely dont mind increase in libido but things like deepening of voice and hair loss things like that we wanna avoid I realize that typically only occurs in high doses she lifts a lil bit not all that consistent but i feel this will help her get where she wants to be but any help is appreciated

Has anyone accidentally taken to much test?

I started off on 10mg a week of testosterone cryp but felt like crap so boosted up to 20mg a week and felt a little better accidentally took 37.5mg one week and felt amazing so i kept it at that for 3 weeks ( im on week 5)

I was taking 20mg anavar too during this i have now stopped the var due to very raised ATL in my liver

But my current test levels are 288.55 nmol/L ≈ 8,323 ng/dL.
And my free test is 10.783

I dont understand how i f**ked up and got so high!

Is cruising on test worth it

Sorry if this question has been asked but I have been through a few threads going back 4-5 years and haven't seen any definite answer so any input is appreciated especially from women who have cruised and blasted test.

My goal is recomp and strength. I know people have recommended var for that- and maybe that's the route I should take but it seems more short term than what I am looking for. I also have had recommendations for long term test. But I read that TRT doesn't really do much if my test levels are already in normal ranges and I heard blasting test has way more risk of virilization.

I guess my question is- for mass building over time and continual strength gains for powerlifting - is cruising on test the best route for that? Or is it better to cycle on and off var and try to maintain those gains during the off cycle? The reason test appeals to me is because it feels more long-term and helps with energy and libido as well. But I don't want to waste my time if cruising won't get me strength gains.

My test levels are below for reference:

Free test 2.2pg/ml

Bioavailable Test 4.5ng/dl

Total test 30 ng/dl

Lump after primo

I have a lump in my shoulder from where I pinned a few days ago. Reading this isn’t normal is that true? It’s sore but no redness or anything.

Low test, can't build muscle. Will TRT within physiological levels help?

About me:

  • 34F 5'7" 125lb after losing 30lb on tirz.
  • throughout my entire life, I have never ever seen an improvement in pure strength via gym training. I can still bicep curl 20lbs, same as when I was 18yo.
  • I am a rock climber/mountaineer. Not pro, but performance is important to me, and I'm starting to take my training more seriously but still not seeing results.
  • I ran some tests to try to get to the bottom of this:
    • HGH: Above average, +1.6
    • B12, Iron, D: Normal
    • Free test: 0.4 pg/mL, very low end of normal range 0.3-4.2
  • Perhaps relevant: I have nexplanon, research is mixed but my best guess is that its impact on test is negligible.

Now, the course of action that I'm considering is to supplement with test, but still within physiological levels. Perhaps aiming for ~1-2 pg/mL, which is 3-6x my current level but still in the middle of the normal range.

I've been doing some initial research about whether TRT could help me to start building strength for the first time in my life. The results are mixed.

  • Most sources say that only superphysiological levels of test can help. For example, in this study, they that only a very high superphysiological dose resulted in increased strength (fig 4); but those women were not prescribed any training regimen. There is also a mechanistic hypothesis for this, something about the mTOR pathway getting activated in men but not women. (this is all AI research which i'm still in the process of understanding)
  • But this study says that un-supplemented free T levels are correlated with muscle mass. and most anecdotal reports seem to say that TRT within physiological levels can help.

What are your thoughts, research outcomes, and experiences? Do you think that TRT to increase free testosterone level -- still well within normal range -- helps to build muscle? If yes, how strong is the effect qualitatively?

Starting Test P

I decided to start taking Test P for performance enhancement as I do a lot of repeated sprints and lifting year round. I wasn’t too sure how many mg I should start with considering my current test results. It’s sitting at 0.6 free, test at 60 and SHBG at 80.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone in the community yet with levels similar to mine ( and trust me I’ve looked) sitting at 5’5 & 130lbs.

I’m also thinking about adding HGH for a little later on for some gains but just wanted to get any type of feedback and guidance from others who have experienced or recommendations with the best starting point.

Thanks in advance!
