Recommendations for sex positive podcasts?

What are your favourite podcasts that celebrate sex positivity. I'm following a variety and it has been very affirming to hear people talking about sex without the suffocating judgement that is pervasive in society.

Some podcasts that I'm already following are about ENM some are about kink etc. I'm trying to cast as wide a net as possible as I grew up in a very rigid household where sex wasn't talked about.

Thoughts on saving porn in a long term relationship

I think most here would be more comfortable with your partner looking at porn but is anyone here comfortable with their partner saving porn? For those in a long term relationship with a HS what is the difference for you between your partner just looking at porn and saving it to use at a later point? Does saving it make a difference to you?

I am comfortable with my partner saving pictures or video for ideas for us to do. But general saving is not something I am comfortable with but I don't know why. My partner and I also look at porn together we I have never had a need to save any.

My wife is upset that I told her I am worried about my HS when going to a different country for work

For work I am going to overseas for a few months. Although we have been married for over 10 years this is part of a new career pivot. I shared that I concerned about my ability to resist any temptation or flirting from colleagues when I am there because we I have never been in a committed long term relationship but unable to have sex for months.

I thought that this is more responsible than pretending it won't be difficult, or pretending that there won't be temptation. I thought it would be better to share these concerns honestly and openly and brainstorm how I can cope with not being able to have real sex in person. She was very upset, said that she "shouldn't even have to worry about this" and is very upset.

What would you have done? Has anyone else been in this situation?

My partner has the view that in a long term monogamous relationship you don't need to look at NSFW content.

My partner feels that ideally that you are attracted to your partner and don't have the need to look at NSFW content / porn.

I feel like I am being held to standard that is for people with a normal / low libido and this cannot work for someone with a high libido or hyper sexual.

Please share you views. I feel that I need and crave variety (even if limited to viewing it online) while being in a long term monogamous relationship.

Question about relationship expectations and saving NSFW content.

My partner who is low / normal sex drive (1x per week) is OK with me looking at NSFW content on the days that we don't have sex and masturbating. Currently we only have sex 2x a week as a compromise. I feel that I need to have sex everyday, and sometimes more than once a day, and as a minimum to feel satisfied, every second day.

The issue is that my partner does not want me saving anything. I mostly look at pictures and when I do I like to save favourites. I save them to look at a later point if I want instead of looking online again. But most of what I have I don't end up looking at again but I have a strong urge to save things that really turn me on. I don't see why this is such as issue.

I suggested I ask on Reddit and see what others like me say. So do any other hypersexuals here in a long term married monogamous relationship save pictures / videos when looking? If so has it every been a problem for your partner?

Does any hypersexual think saving is wrong? And if so please can you explain why?

I know part of it for me comes from a scarcity mentality, I grew up in a struggling family and saving feels like 'having' and I have issues around shame about my body and sexuality in general and for some reason looking and edging, or saving what I have looked at helps. I feel like I am being forced to fit into society's expectations. Why do I have to be like everyone else just because of my partners insecurities and they are closer to the middle of the bell curve than I am?

Boundaries related to fantasies

My Dom and I have differing views on boundaries when it comes to fantasising about/masturbating to someone.

I feel that anyone either/both of us know and spend time with is off limits (friends, colleagues etc). I know in general a lot of my reaction is emotional, but my reasons for this boundary are:

  • It feels like it invites a sexual element into the relationship with the other person, even if that person has no awareness of it.
  • I feel it is disrespectful to me.

My partner feels that they should be able to fantasise about/masturbate to someone they find attractive. They say it’s just purely in their imagination and has no impact on how they see/engage with the person. They see it as similar to masturbating to porn or a porn star / celebrity.

We're both open to understanding each other's views more, but also thought it would useful to see how other couples view this?

How common is it for women to never masturbate alone and is it healthy?

My wife and I have mismatched sex drives. I am on the higher end and she is on the lower end. We have sex twice a week as a compromise but what I would like is every second day.

I've asked her how frequent sex was in her previous long term relationship and she said that it was also once a week. I understand that mismatched sex drives is a common issue and normal.

I want to know if it's common for a women to never masturbate alone? And is it healthy? We have a vibrator and dildo we bought and we enjoy using them during sex or foreplay. But she has never used one alone. The only time my wife masturbates is if she is riding me and wants to rub her clit if I'm not doing it. I know sexuality is quite individual but I've been listening to some podcasts about sexual health with sex therapists (female hosts) and I have heard that having a regular masturbation habit can be healthy and good for you. Is anything to be concerned about?
