About my health-
I am currently disabled with several chronic illnesses. I have hope that they will improve and I am constantly seeing doctors and trying experimental treatments. I have ME/CFS, POTS, MCAS, hEDS. Although I’m currently still suffering from bouts of dizziness, limited energy (overdoing it risks permanently worsening my illness), joint instability (including partial dislocations, called subluxations), general pain and brain fog (includes bad memory, overall confusion, bad focus), my energy threshold (ME/CFS) has recently drastically improved and I am the healthiest I have been since before I got sick. My health can be a rollercoaster usually, but seems relatively stable right now. 

Due to hEDS, I occasionally experience partial dislocations, called subluxations. Often these are unpredictable, for example sometimes I hurt my wrist in my sleep or one time I hurt my shoulder leaning down to the microwave. Pain can last anywhere from a few seconds to several days maximum. With pain management therapies I recently tried (ask me in dms if you’re curious), joint pain can now be very brief for me fortunately, but I am still extremely prone to back and shoulder pain. Also repetitive moments are harsh on my joints and I can’t do it for extended periods. I guess I’m born to be treasured haha, I’m too frail. I am working with a physio, ME/CFS causes exercise intolerance but it has improved enough to do super gentle lying down pilates. More muscle will help protect my joints more, but I’m not sure by how much. This is a condition I’ll never 100% recover from (it’s genetic) and will always affect me at least a small amount, for example, my skin is fragile and cuts more easily which can’t be improved.

Mental health conditions and neurodivergence-
-I have OCD, mainly paranoia of germs on surfaces, foods and my body. Also some intrusive thoughts and more general paranoia but as far as OCD goes I consider it mild.

-I can be anxious and depressed. I take meds and it is usually manageable. I also have kind of hypomanic episodes too, my energy levels can dramatically vary sometimes. I have a psychologist and psychiatrist to help me manage any problems, and I’m still trying some more things to see what works.

-Because of Autism I have less of a filter than normal people, and sometimes forget social rules, but I think I have an okay grasp of most of them.
