While, it's really important that sexually active folks get tested for it regularly, because stuff like Gono or Chlamydia when in the mouth/throat/butt doesn't cause any symptoms in majority of cases, while remaining highly contagious, so people might end up spreading it to multiple sexual partners unknowingly.
